I use to have a wheat farm that has cows in it. I moved the cows some where else because the fence glitch won't work anymore, I heard on the PC cows don't break your crops unless they jump.
2 questions I have to ask.
1. Do cows try to jump over fences? Wouldn't that break the crop/wheat?
2. What update do you think or will it be when they don't break your crops?
What should I do? Help me out?

All animals break your crops when they walk on them. If you run over your crops you'll break them. Even on PC is cows, sheep, or any mob trample your crops they'll break.
And no, no mob can jump over a fence block unless there's another normal block next to it (ie a dirt block next to your fence)
The issue I have seen on other peoples farms is they build a farm in a grassy area and don't get rid of grass inside the fence. Then animals spawn inside the fence. You could surrond the farmed blocks with stone or something and put the fence in stone blocks or put a farm underground.

All my farms are underground. I'm a caveman and an outside architect. lol but you gave me an idea. Put my cow farm right under my wheat farm. I might try that out. Thanks either way.

Actually on the PC, neither the player nor mobs can trample crops.
has 4J commented if it will be in the next update or not? it was added to the pc just before spawn eggs and sheep regrowing wool
I didn't say it will but i'm sure from my prediction. A lot of stuff wasn't brought forward on the xbox with the update. Remember that. They release TU7 without enchanting or the end and some other stuff that wasn't brought forward to the xbox.

Not even if they're jumping on top of the stuff? I thought just walking normally on it trampled the crop

On the PC if you jump yeah it tramples. That's why I was wondering what if the cows try to jump over the fence then end up breaking my crops.
