(PS: This comment is not directed at MG or the OP. I honestly don't know for sure whether or not Microsoft cares about altering the ownership of individual gamesaves.)
I find it odd that Creative's proponents are against "Map-Sharing".
I'm not against map sharing, but I would rather not take the 1 in 1,000,000 chance of getting caught doing something that breaks the Xbox Live TOS and losing a gamertag I've had since the Xbox 360 came out.
I completely disagree with Overlooked. Building is building, why does it matter how you acquired the resources? I know this guy in real life and if he were to build a structure in real life he wouldn't decline to have all of the resources readily available to him just so he can live out the adventure of obtainment.

LOL!! True story IRL... very lazy! +1 .. But in MC I like to work for my resources.
Since they would all be creative worlds clearly leaderboards and achievements would not be an issue....
So to anyone that feels that they are in fact that important that Microsoft is actually looking at their activity just to "catch them"
red handed, can load any saves to any other made up Free-GT..
Microsoft doesn't care......
they dont need to look they have stuff to do it for them. or u know what. go ahead and download maps you could be a good testing subject. tell me if they take your live away. i would really like to know if they would

I think I will.. I'll set up 2 GTs on Xbox make a map on one and transfer it to the other one..
And I'll let you know as soon as they shut either of the GTs down.. which is more than likely...never.

They will likely never find out or do anything about it, but there is always that chance.
Like I said earlier, I would like to keep my Gamertag that I've had since 2006 and paid quite a bit of money to have a Gold membership. I'd rather not flush that all down the toilet. If I wanna play someones map, I'll just go join it.

Here's an idea that MS and 4J might persue on the subject of map shareing: A File Share system. It would be similar to the File Share system in place for Halo. You would be able to download maps made by other people and play them.

I build on creative because I dont have any limitations on what I can build and what materials I use. For those who spent more time collecting materials than designing buildings I guess they just dont have enough imagination to play on creative. Survival builders always think no hard work goes into creative but I have spent over 1200 hours building my city and I am far more happy with my creative city than a city thats a quarter of the size and mostly made of wood and cobblestone.
Good for your you spent 4hrs a day for the last 10mo building something that you can fly around in.
It has nothing to do with imagination.... Again it's as simple as 2 builds being exactly the same.. and ME being more impressed by the one that was built while in survival only mode... I never said creative sucks or anything like that.
Plus, if you can only envision a survival world built of cobble and wood.. clearly you have some imagination issues yourself.
Edit*.. How did you put in 1200 hrs in creative...? it only came out in Oct... You really played at least 8hrs a day everyday for the last 5Mo? o.O

I don't play 8 hours a day, but i've been known to occasionally binge on the weekends playing over 14 hours at a sitting (help keeps me thinner, i usually just skip a meal or two if i do, or snacking as i play)

It is possible, just unlikely.
lol true on the skipping meals part! But even then if he compensated with a weekend binge session like 14hrs worth on each weekend...... well... clearly he's exaggerating.

1200 hours is less than 2 months of time. It's only 50 days. The game has been out since May 2012, so that puts it at 10 months and 12 days old. That too me seems like plenty of time to rack up 1200 hours on Minecraft.
I've had days where I played Minecraft for a full 24 hours and then some into the next day. I would say it is entirely possible that he isn't exaggerating at all.

He's talking about creative mode.... which came out in Mid-Oct correct? And I know It's possible to rack up time.. in the last 6 mo according to "My Stats" on live.. I've racked up about 450.. but 1200 in 5mo? Again possible.. but unlikely.
Honestly I hope it's an exaggeration....

I'm doing it just to see how far i can push the limits of my will power (link to it in my sig) and see if i can resist the temptation of using creative or even host options (i.e. fly, invisible). Thus far, it's worked out greatly, and i'm enjoying the challenge of having to gather the resources i need and smelt/craft them to build. I know i probably could have completed this project back in december using creative, but i set myself a challenge and refuse to give up on it.
I do have other projects i'm working on, mine, and friends.

Lol - so simple to get Microsoft to change its stripes, eh?
Me too.
or am in the only one not seeing it?
I can confirm that it is indeed gone... no idea why. It's not the first time I've seen this happen though. Perhaps a query to the admins is in order?

I honestly don't know - perhaps PM a person who you've seen with a designation under their name?

What if they had? No denying it would add a level of impressiveness.
