(murphy's law) humorous axiom stating that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
1. If a ghast is in range of your bow then you're in his range too.
2. If you just collected 20 diamonds with a fortune 3 pick then there is a creeper behind you.
3. If you just need to mine one more block to get some redstone overhead then there's lava behind it.
4. If the you just finished your city and invited some friends over then one of them is a griefer.
5. If you just downloaded an update your favorite new thing has a bug.
6. If your roller coaster needs one more powerrail to work then you're out of gold.
If you carefully count the number of blocks you need to build something in survival, it is never the correct amount. (happened to me more times than i can count, very frustrating when you gather the exact number of materials to build a home you designed, build it using blueprints you created, only to end up short 20 blocks)
If you survive a creeper blowing up in your face, you will then immediately discover that the blast has removed the only layer of solid ground between you and a lava lake.
This will only happen almost immediately after you mined the 6-8 diamonds from the shores of said lava lake.
Autosave will only kick in immediately following the creeper's blast.
Said lava lake will also always be at the farthest point on the map from your bed where you will respawn.
This will also happen on a dark rainy night with lightning where several packs of creepers have spawned between your respawn point and the said lava lake.
This will be your once in a lifetime encounter with a charged creeper.
Creepers aren't reaally too bad, I doubt you'll have diamonds but not any armor. And if you do, Creepers aren't too scary. But my cursed seed "Disneyland" is. The lava lakes are covered by a thin layer of snow, you can literally fall through the snow and into a death trap. And there's no way to now where they are unless you dig up all the snow
Zombie Pigmen will take any opportunity to walk in front of you while you're mining or obstruct your path on a bridge in order to provoke you into attacking.

Anymore?.....

You wont find slimes
If you aren't looking for Slimes,
You'll find heaps of them.
(Though I don't really use Sticky Pistons in survival much...)
Stay fluffy~
