I have been a minecraft fan for about a year now and have had a few weird objects spawn in all my worlds. Like 3 block stacks of gravel sitting on a single cobblestone block in the middle of caves and large, perfect capital E's in the sides of trees. Is that normal? And if it isn't, has it happened to anyone else? It's kind of creeping me out.
its like everything else in the world. I buy a mustang and I start noticeing everyone has mustangs. I like the number 13 and I start seeing it everywhere. when you notice something it doesn't show up more all the sudden its just your brain remembers that you seen it more often then forgetting it. Your brain forgets 99% of your daily life and if you likeing something it will remember it when you see it. almost like photographicmemory. everyone has it just doesn't know how to use it. this is photographic memeory working in your case. The only strange thing i really have ever seen outside of the initial weird seed generation is I found a yellow flower on a dirt block down near bedrock. I don't know if an Enderman was to blame for that or if it just spawned there. It was weird seeing it though.
The 3 blocks of gravel on a block of Cobblestone could be sheer coincidence. I found a rail floating in mid-air almost 2 blocks away from a mineshaft last night.
As for the capital E thing, I have no explanation for that, due to the fact that I never see them. Your on your own with the E thing.

I've run into this as well, I actually believe mine was a red flower, on a dirt block on top of bedrock next to a huge lava-fall
Disregard my last post.Ive also run into the dirt block flower/grass at bedrock level. I dont think endermen can pickup grass or flowers though, just blocks.
