need some ideas to get my imagination going again. been having some personal issues which havent kept me happy at all but anyways my imagination has been down in the dumps. looking for stuff in a world where i have my house. wheat. reed. cactus and melon farms. i also have a 9 button combo lock room and a sand house. this is on survival. 1.7 no stronghold or fortress. any ideas? i also have a creative world.
I suspect your world is probably from 1.8.2 rather than 1.7.3 since you mention having a melon farm in survival. Abandoned Mineshafts (the only spurce of melon seeds in survival mode) were introduced in 1.8.2. If it is, that means you also have villages and a stronghold (although the stronghold may not have an end portal); and you can get involved in making several civic improvements to a village since these usually require a fair bit of work realligning houses and streets and terraforming the terrain to make the village more liveable. Even if you don't have any NPC villages, you can also add your own version of suburbia or replicate village styles from different parts of the world (e.g. a village of igloos, teepees, pagodas, fishing huts on stilts, Anasazi-style adobe condos, etc. You can also turn a stronghold into an awesome underground secret base.

its TU7 strongholds were possible but didnt always get created. same with the mineshafts. im usually not good at making big buildings. they jus never seem right to me. and alot of my inspiration comes from youtube or pictures or maps i visit.
I love building railways! So the roller-coaster idea and the rails to the holiday retreat sound fun. Another thing I like to do is build giant replicas of creepers or sheep or whatever, from colored sheeps wool. That keeps me occupied for a long time!
