What are some exclusives, if any, that we're supposed to be available later after launch for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft? I heard that Kinect was supposed to be available at LAUNCH and it was comfirmed by 4J but they comfirmed that there would never be kinect imported within the 360 version. And then my friend told me that a CTF gamemode was supposed to be with the game aswell but not at launch. If anyone knows some exclusives that have not come to the game yet please provide a link to your source. Thank you.
Im aware of these, but I'm curious if anyone can find a source to rumors about having kinect, a CTF Gametype, etc. I first started hearing this before the game was even released but when I did my googling I couldn't find anything.
alsooo, now this is wayyy off, and kinda hard to pin down, but they have mentioned the prospect of having some of the more popular PC mods implemented as vanilla features for the xbox version.
"Capture the flag has been mentioned a lot by Notch and is currently unimplemented, but it was also stated at Minecon that it will come on the Xbox before the PC or Pocket edition. Dinnerbone said on reddit he might add flags so Capture the Flag might be in a near update."
It has been said at minecon by 4J that Kinect will not happen as it adds nothing to the game other then quirkiness, they have tried multiple prototypes and let it go. Good on them if you ask me, rather have gameplay features overs an alternative control that hardly anyone will prefer over a controller.
I'm sure all of us know about what they said at minecon. I know too. But I thought I might post that kinect video.
Well right now we have splitscreen multiplayer, native controller support, voice chat, able to change skins without having to exit the game, leader boards, a better map system for parties playing together, limited worlds (which helps great for pvp games).
I tell you, if the PC version had the first three I listed, I'd never touch the Xbox version.
Well i want exclusive items or mobs or new liquids, not automatic crafting recipes and the ablility to upload images to facebook or a superflat-nether or new skins or even a dragon to spit out acid and kill you faster

^^^ Did anybody even take the time to watch this? That is the most amazing thing I've ever seen and I have always been anti-Kinect. If this was implemented (and I know it won't be) I would run out and buy a Kinect just to utilize such a feature.

I watched it, it is AMAZING and like you said Mojang will never add this

CTF was mentioned by Notch. That if it ever comes to Minecraft, that the Xbox 360 Edition would get it first.
I'm far to lazy to link the 4J Minecon video and I'm not digging around the internet to find a single sentence from Notch.

Whether that remains exclusive or not, that is a different matter.
On the pc it is a constant stream save, or something like that. Where as on the xbox right now you can save, not save, or autosave.
Skip to about 37:27 where they get asked about if it is being added. They will explain why it won't.
