Today i decided to move minecraft 360 over to my flash drive and look around at some of the files. Posted here is a terrain.png file from the current version we have now.:
Looking at this picture, 3 things stand out to me. The textures for jungle wood, redstone lamps and chiseled stone brick are already in the game but not currently accessible.
I am not trying to promote a modding discussion. Just wondering if anyone spots any other things that stand out. I found this interesting to look at either way.
**EDIT: the pic did not post, ill have it here shortly.

well yah, just like the pocket edition they use the same terrain.png as the PC, but that dosnt mean they have to implement them. people who posted something like his in the pocket edition forums would be considered noobs
We have already known that the textures are already there for items we do not yet have. From what I understand, this is just to make it easier on 4J as MCXBLA develops. There's no point in them recreating textures that already exist, and it makes more sense for Mojang to send them all texture files in one big bunch, rather than a small bundle with each update.

I appreciate the responses and thank you for the reply Nose job and mustache guy. I just was looking and was wondering about it and asking here i thought would be a good place to start.
Well I am sure in the next update that graphic will change... I deduced this from looking at the pic and combining that with what 4J has shown they are going to be putting into the game in the next update. That is definitely a 1.2.3 or close to it, version of the png. They will be modifying that or doing something else just so there will be colored wood stuff and what ever else they plan to pull forward or put in...
So that probably will not be the same after the next update....

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
What is all that silver stuff on the buttom row? Anyone know?
Block breaking animation. If I remember, someone once told me that that thing curving at the end of the row before lava is the boundary for biomes or villages or something like that. It's has been a very long time since I tried making a texture pack.
