The only problem I see is that I think that whoever ports it over should make the game back in 1.6. So the Plastaytion Players have to wait for all the updates like we did. I know it sounds selfish but it would be unfair if they got the version we have when they received the game.

MCXBLA will always be exclusive, because there isn't more than one Xbox. However, console Minecraft might not be.

Like most other sensible people, I see no problem with a PS3/PS4 edition of Minecraft. Of course we'll see some of the same issues that we saw with the 360 edition; people who already own one version wanting the other for free, people getting butthurt when they don't have the exact combination of features in whichever version they own, etc.
As with most people though, I'm really hoping to hear news about a PS4/720 edition that has larger worlds and more features. I have the ability to play Minecraft on my nearly 4 year old macbook pro, but I much prefer playing on my xbox for various (my friends play the 360 edition, I prefer controllers and my big TV, don't want to spend the time and money to somehow set up Minecraft to work through a computer on my TV, especially with my computer being so old...).
I'm leaning towards the next xbox anyway because of my current collection, but if there was a nice bigger-worlds Minecraft on PS4 and not on the 720, it'd definitely influence my decision. Or maybe I should just get a PC, that's all anyone plays here in Korea anyway...

remember what i said when mc for xbox came? nothing will be exclusive, even if something would come thats not in pc added by mojang, the community would have added it with mods.
both ps3 and 360 are around the 70 million sales mark. So they are basically neck and neck.

Well i never realized, but most ps3 sales are based in japan however, they have a very small market elsewhere, i remember reading somewhere that sony was being held together mostly by its japan foundation.
Anyhow truth is i could care less if sony gets it or not, right now my eyes are open for M$'s next console. I won't belittle myself going back to playstation at this point in time the psn is just crap, you get what you pay for and I'd rather pay a small monthly fee for decent service then be exposed to the psn, and before anyone says anything yes i have used it, and yes it sucks, i've played on it multiple times.
