Has anyone "tamed" or taken full control of a nether fortress before? Did you use creative or 4 players? What was your stratégie? I am thinking about making a base there and want to hear experiemces
It was pretty tame when I got there. No blazes or blaze spawners. Just a few random zombie pigmen wandering around. I hope the nether reset works in the new update. I'm tired of starting new worlds
What do you mean by "Tamed"? There is no real way to make it a "friendly" place to live. You can contain the Blazes I suppose but Ghasts will pretty much always be a threat.

build a cobblestone fortress with your nether wart farm . encase the blaze spawners so 1- they dnt fly out of range 2- an to control the situation. I also like to place a few guard shacks with snowgolems for protection in case i get in trouble. my nether fort has iron doors to keep pigmen out but also walls so ghast have no straight shoot at the doors.
Sure, mine is "tamed". It just takes cobble, or some other blast resistant block. The blaze spawner(s) are easy, just build a trap around them. The only real threat are the ghasts. Cover your walkways and bam, safe from the ghasts. Now if you really want to go crazy you could cover all the floor spaces with slabs or change them to something like glass. That would stop all mobs from spawning. I find that I like having the pigmen and magma cubes around, they're easy to kill and have good drops and exp.

The guard "shacks" are stupid. Snow golems melt in the nether.
nether fortresses are already tame. pigmen won't attack you unless you ask for a fight. magma slimes are easy. ghasts stay outside.. the fortresses are places you can walk around wearing no armor, holding nothing but a block of wood, a cow hide and a bucket of milk.
