I do a lot of mega builds and I'm almost always in creative. Most of my builds at one point or another require some sort of mindless block placing whether it be in a straight line or around a circle. Why do I feel like the animals are secretly collaborating against me and constantly stand at the end of my block lines and jump in front of my block placing. I mean the world is huge and they could be doing anything but no, they choose to stand on my stone right where I need to place that block and just stare at me. Obviously its not a big deal or anything but sometimes I get into a rhythm and they jack it all up. Anyone else ever experience this?
Yes. It's annoying for me, because the only time I go into creative is to practice redstone... I had to build an area for it before I could get down to business..

The good people, they always die. And the bad people do too...But the weaker people, the people like me, WE have inherited the Earth. -Morgan Jones
Don't know about clever... but definitely curious bunch. Always wandering around and seem to gravitate towards you even though you don't have wheat out.>< Or so it seems. Maybe they think you are building something for them so they get in front of you and do ask what kiori said...lol
yeah they aught to at least tone down the spawn rate of these critters, if not improve the AI just a bit to make them at least seem more clever and intelligent. Kinda' like how the pc version did with their hostile mobs, but for passive ones...:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
it annoyed me that much on my testing world that i built a pen and spent hrs breading them in there, think ive got them all penned in now,
can build in peace and quiet lol
I used to have this annoying problem all the time. Since the creative update, all of my major projects (a.k.a. one major project) are floating a good 10 blocks off the ground, or higher. I understand this isn't practical for some builds, but I personally think redstone machines look better when they're flying. I've also seen an incredible floating steampunk city that blew my mind.
Speaking of that, on one of my friend's worlds, we built an underground pit to do the exact same thing. Out of sight, out of mind. But good god, when you walk over the spot, you know they're there.
Sorry, but this is all I could think about when I saw the title of this thread for some reason.
On topic: I've always felt like the animals are somewhat attracted to the player. When you stand still and look in a direction, it feels like the animals try to move in front of you and stare at you. They definitely seem to do it while you're building though. I always have to punch animals out of the way because they seem to enjoy climbing on my builds while I'm building.
Ok so I laughed really hard when this one happened. I had a dirt block up in the sky to stand on so when I took pictures of this world I was building as it progressed all the pictures would be from the same perspective. I was working on it this morning and I flew back to the block to take another picture and this is what I found haha.

Forum AdminI think the worst is if you're planning out your base, start laying your structure, and a Creeper explodes almost all the work you've done.
