I just wish they would share their chart on when they want to bring certain features to the game from the pc version. They can hide the new features but like if they would release saying we will spend funds this qtr on these features it would stop a lot of questions on when features will come. I know they have it planned out for the next year at least. But this will never happen..

The only problem is, they do not know what is going to actually be in the update until they send it in to Microsoft for Cert Testing. Until that happens, they can remove and add things as they see fit. They could say "We're adding Redstone Lamps in TU9" but then remove them because of more important things.

Redstone Lamps came to the PC in 1.2. TU9 is equivalent to the PCs 1.1 for the most part. We are getting to at least the equivalent of the PCs 1.2.3 in the future. You do the math.

Prior to 4j takin over the xbox version, the wiki future update page for the xbox said we would be getting redstone lamps.

After a while ya just get tired of lookin at torches in your house or tryin to get glohinwstone whitch is overrated anyway. Think about it... do you really want torches in your home?

Well you could always hide glowstone lamps in your builds,make a day-night sensor, and voila,no more torches. Lots of viddies on utube,or check out my world.

They've said they plan to make us at least equivalent to PC 1.2.3 so we know we should, more or less, get everything any PCer has up to 1.2.3, then we'll be going off into nitpicking what we want from the later PC versions and possibly xbox exclusives.

Hmm... I guess my hidden pumpkins aren't good enough either...lol

Anyway we will be getting them eventually. As far as when that is up to 4J and what they can put in with each update. Their updates seem focused on 1 primary thing (The major thing added) and quite a few extras. This is only observation from the last couple major updates. I am surprised they are bringing forward the entire colored wood set in this next update... Well minus jungle of course...:D There is still time, but whom of us is to say what will be in and what will be held back...

When I mess with torches I tend to do some shadow playing (aka hidden lighting) most times. Of course that is what I do with lighting most the time anyhow. Just be patient and those lamps will be in soon enough....:D

_{nono im saying when they plan on spending funds on developing said features. LIke when a company chooses to say ok we can try and add: toggleable glowstone. How much time and money will that cost the company. If its to much for the budget they will push it off. My thing is that all companys have a plan setup for budget for at least a year. So if they are budgeting stuff in certain quarters it would be nice to know. Yes I know these can change and that's fine but if they had said list public for us then it would save about 10000 posts on the board about whens this coming why isn't this in etc. its not like anyone else is going to make minecraft for xbox so there is no competition...}

That isn't only on the Pocket Edition.

Once our villagers respond to the day and night cycle, i.e. going inside at night and coming out during the day, we can make day/night sensors easily.

Umm,I have a day,night sensor(YouTube). Doesn't need villagers,it needs water.

Well I really hope we get those redstone lamps. I dont know why we havent already gotten them actually. Those could add a whole lot to the game.
