I've seen many good adventure maps that do not have Mob Spawners on both the PC and Xbox 360.
Since we have no actual official legit way to share worlds there would technically be no point. They're already available via modding your inventory, though.

When a dispenser filled with spawn eggs is activated, it shoots them out like it would an arrow or a chicken egg.
Okay guys, one reason I think he wants mod spawners also, is because they are different from spawn eggs. Spawners, you need to be in a certain distance for them to spawn. The spawn egg lacks this. Yes I know you can set up a contraption with pressure plates and what not but a spawner is redstone free.

They will work man, also in the next update lava buckets will dispense as normal lava in front of the dispenser!
Just need to know because they're a very useful tool for map makers and if there's no way to get them then map makers on the 360 are basically screwed.
If Spawners where to be implemented into the Xbox version then they wouldent be every type in the creative menu, there would be one that when you placed down it would let you choose what type of Spawners it is

I highly doubt we'll get them, though, so sticking with the dispenser/egg combo is the best bet....

Yeah but modded spawners only spawn pigs, you can't change them to say a Zombie spawner or Spider spawner :/
