The worst mob and the most dangerous mob are actually 2 different things...O_o Also there is no whither on the xbox...><
I chose zombie pigman and cave spiders.... Those always want to gang up on you... pigman crowd, and the cave spiders always have a spawner... what makes cave spiders comparable to pigman is that they are small enough to fit in a 1x1 hole... Or well that is how they are suppose to be...lol

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
The one enemy that can REALY give me a fight for my life is a Zombie Pigmen, I once had DIAMOND gear in the Neather attacked a ZP and, no joke 10 others came out of no where and killed me! I fear ZP

They use to be a big issue for me too but since we got nether fotresses i can kill a couple at a time in hallways no problem. No more of them ganging up on me and dropping off cliffs from behind etc.
ghasts are the only mob i will not run at with a full on battle cry, including chickens and pigs.
well, MC danger, ghasts. RL danger, chickens. seriously, a whole generation of kids are going to grow up thinking that a duck could have a wattle. ducks don't have that. chickens have that. full of anatomy sad right now.
unless.. are all the ducks walking around with slit throats? cause that's gross.

Well, I would say the Pigman, but since their spawn has dropped, they aren't as bad as they used to be. Not to mention, the new "caves" that generate in the Nether hold some of them out of reach.
I would also say Cave Spiders, but these are not encountered frequently and aren't really that big of a deal.
My say is depending on the difficulty: Skeletons on hard, creepers on normal and easy.
The Wither was specifically designed to be the most dangerous, although the fact that you can only encounter it by being masochistic enough to summon it yourself reduces the threat level somewhat (thank god).
I'm gonna have to go with things that poison you (Cave Spiders and Wither Skellies) and things that attack in packs (Angry Wolves and angry Zombie Pigmen), although the last two you also have to bring down on yourself (not necessarily intentionally, though).

I have seen those cave spider spawners in abandoned mine shafts. They are covered with webs.
It's like hitting a dead fish... The fish wins.
