Does anyone know for sure or not if old seeds can be used later for updated content? like if i have a seed i like now when the jungle biomes come out will i be able to re use the same seed and have jungles populate on it?
ive been looking for days and cant find anythign on it. also i mean on the xbox360 as well tyvm !
You can use old seeds, however they will not be the same as they were. If it's a seed that is only a minor difference (same world generator) the difference may not be much.
The best thing to do is to try it and see. With creative mode you could spend 5 mins running around and checking.

The seed most likely would not be the same. Seeds usually change with every update that includes new biomes. If you have a seed you like part of, your best bet is to leave some of the world unexplored and hope jungle spawns there once you explore it later.
