I am having the same problem.. not sure if its from the new 1.5.2 update but animals are spawning like crazy everywhere on all my worlds now... I use the /butcher -a command to get rid of them and my last butcher cleaned out almost 4500 animals in the chunk I was in.. how do you stop this.. it is driving everyone on the server crazy..

This is obviously posted in the wrong section of the forums; but I think a command to blanket butcher animals on the map might be a neat addition to the Xbox version... a way to get rid of the numerous animals I seem to have trapped in caves and such that won't despawn because they can't move 20 blocks and are just eating up space in my animal spawn limit.
