If the seed is something like "Great Nether Fortress" then I'll name it the same. When I'm having issues like the recent problem with fortressess not having everything in the nether then i'll go Random 1, Random 2. When I'm feeling real minecrafty then i'll add a personal touch like use my xbox gamer tag or my prison num... nevermind.

I have one world named "NO" because my niece was with me when I made it and she suggested something for the name and I said "how about no" and I was like why not?
Another one I named "Old World" to contradict the "New World" it automatically puts in when you start it. I've also named them after their purpose (like a legitimate survival world named "Survival" or a seed I got from the Gaming Lemon that seemed to have Herobrine on it that I searched for him on which I named "Herobrine") and one I named after the seed ("Worst Seed Ever" for worstseedever)
Nothing too original.

My series of worlds are all titled "Vegaville," aptly titled after my last name.

I make a new one to go along with every major update, so it gets annoying after a while. I'm currently on my third.

"The Edge Of Insanity" is my citys name on my list. Even though it's called stargate. A little homage to FarCry 3

I just name my worlds random things that are on my mind.

My current world is named Foo Foo Cuddly Poops (If people know what that is from, high five you you random person)

I name my creative worlds after whatever I plan to build in them, and my survival worlds all follow the template "Distortion's World ____" with roman numerals in the blank for what world it is. I'm on Distortion's World LVI now (World 56). I uh... I may play a bit too much ._.

Well my longest standing world, the one I worked on since I started actually playing is in my sig. Arcavia.

I have an easy time naming my worlds, but that is the only one I have a lot of stuff I built on it. Well for me it is a lot of stuff, since all of it has remained in survival, even if it was on peaceful most of the time. I did start it on easy but switched over so in a way it is slow progress since I only go back to it every so often.

Other worlds like my Krether world, my newest attempt at survival, is one of the primary ones at the moment I play on easy. PumpkinPatchInOctober is not named as of yet since like Krether I haven't got much. But do plan on continuing that one once the reset nether option is in and I can comfirm that it has wart. If I can confirm that it works with my Arcavia world then I just might add more to it. After each update I usually go back to it constantly to add this and that, if not already going back here and there.

If you're referring to the name of the file, then I generally name the world the same as the seed for it and add the word "survival" or "creative" depending on how I'm planning to play in it. If it's a random seed, I'll write down the seed string and rename the world to match the seed string as well. If you're referring to why I might name places inside my map, well then I generally get some inspiration from the terrain, like Big Drop Falls or Sandy Bend and Sinkhole Springs.

I tend to consider my worlds a kingdom or country and once i map out the whole island I divide it into regions and give each region a title. If you've ever played the legend of zelda, think of hyrule. One big kingdom with several distinctly different regions each with a title. So various names include: Piklandia, Distortia, Carrotopia, ReggieLand, and my current world is called Pikland.

My survival world is called 'life' because it resembles nothing like it.
