how do i make potions on the xbox version. i lost a daimond pickace with unbreaking 3 to make a brewing table and i tried to make a potion and i keep getting potions with no affect. can someone please tell me how to make potions

Play through the tutorial world. There is a potions tutorial very early on in the game. Hands-on experience is much better than anything we could provide.

i would rather not know then go through tutorial but thnks if i get deprate i will do that. i also need to make new daimond pickaxe(assuming i find daimonds soon) and avenge my old pickaxe.

When added makes Nether Wart Awkward Potion Glowstone Dust Thick Potion Redstone Dust Mundane Potion
(Extended) Fermented Spider Eye Potion of Weakness Secondary Ingredients
Secondary ingredients imbue an Awkward Potion with a particular effect but do not alter potion duration or intensity. When added directly to a Water Bottle, any of these ingredients will produce a Mundane Potion (with the exception of fermented spider eye, which results in a potion of weakness and the golden carrot, which can't be used to a Water Bottle to make a potion). Name Icon Effect Magma Cream Fire Resistance Sugar Speed Glistering Melon Instant Health Spider Eye Poison Ghast Tear Regeneration Blaze Powder Strength Fermented Spider Eye Weakness Modifiers
Modifiers change the potion's properties. The "longer duration" and "more potent" versions of a potion can be forever interchanged. Name Icon When added Redstone Dust Increases duration Glowstone Dust Increases potency Fermented Spider Eye Corrupts Effect (see below) Gunpowder Makes Potion Throwable (Splash Potion)

thanks that helped alot. but what about splash potions i dont think i saw those in thereoh i see ok then thank you i should get more gun powder
