Woo! I was the first to vote I think my favorite potion would have to be the Potion of Swiftness because it helps when you are trying to get from Point A to Point B in a hurry which really comes in handy when fleeing or about to die of starvation because you ate your last Oreo and the food is at the house.... happens......
I can relate to that SO many times. i cant tell you how many times ive gone on a trip and ran out of oreos > and congrats your the first to vote on my first poll
Ya i like fire resistance when my nether turns into a war zone due to ghast bombardment XD

Thank you for recognizing my pain in running out of Oreos. Fire Resistance is a nifty potion and does come in handy when you are really far down in a cave and you don't know when you'll hit that block that sends you plummeting in boiling lava which has happened to me a lot and ruined my brand spanking new outfit which I had dry-cleaned the previous day.

I have not used or tangoed with potions yet, so I am basing my choices on what I would use them for.
Fire resistance, that should be obvious right... lava fire nether...overworld fire lava...
Swiftness, to move quicker and possibly not have to sprint to waste hunger.
Like someone else said, you are missing splash. I would use that for a spawner to reduce the amount of damage needed to kill a mob. good for when you don't want to fine tune a crusher. That or just to get the loot...:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Fire Resistance and Swiftness are my 2 Most Favs. Swiftness helps when your in a Survival World and you get some "jackwagon" trollers or griefers who keep trying to kill you. You can just get away from them faster, or you can move faster and kill them. Fire Resistance helps when they shove you into lava or fire to try and get your stuff.
fire resistance is great for working around lava... also allows you to build and access a little secret base in a lava pool... very few would ever search the bottom of a lava pool at Y5.
but i do love harming II splash potions. since we otherwise only have the sword, the bow and i guess the flint/steel for use as weapons... harmin II adds another dynamic to combat.
and (yes i chose three) swiftness potions. why bother putting all that work into a rail system to get to some cave you might exhaust in a few days... brew up some speed potions and hoof it.

the splash isnt missing re read the question.--> What is your favorite potion?(Whichever you chose involves splash versions)
I like em both especially poison or harming because I do love dispenser traps In my adventure maps.
actually u should use regeneration potions for traps undead mobs are unafected by posion
like zombies and skeletons and i think a spider is considered undead but not creepers i would have to search more about it though. but for undead mobs use regeneration potions not sure why but it hurts them posion does the opposite by healing them.

The regeneration hurting them is an old RPG element, seeing as how healing a living person helps them, the logic is healing an undead "person" would hurt them, since they are not living, and are basically the "opposite" of their living counter part.

I know right? Some people just don't understand my sense for High Fashion, and one cannot simply wear a lava stained outfit.
