So I'm building a challenge map for my friends, basically they have to escape a massive underground dungeon. The first part is a stronghold that is bisected by a ravine, they have to reach the part of the stronghold that lets them into a path cut into the wall of the ravine. I've got two possible paths for them to take with weapons and armour hidden throughout.
Now, the for the next parts I'm trying to think of a series of challenges they have to complete, like the path occasionally stops and goes into a room in the wall where they have to complete the challenge, figure out the puzzle, evade the traps, etc, to emerge on the other side and continue to the next room.
The only things I need you to keep in mind is that they only get one life each, and even if they fail the puzzle must remain passable (Ex: No pressure pad rooms that detonate a layer of TNT and make a huge crater instead of a room.)
I already came up with having a room full of pressure pads and a single path, which if they stray from TNT is set off under gravel under the pad, which sends them plummeting into a pit of doom if they aren't careful.
