I have just started building a house based on a minecraft daily timer. My timer runs through a 10 minute am cycle, then through a 10 min pm cycle. So far I have wired the doors of my house to open at 5 am and close at 6 pm (who needs a daylight sensor with this baby?). I will also be installing timed lighting (would be much easier with redstone lamps). Do you guys have anymore ideas for timed components for my house? P.s. each minute represents a minecraft hour, I also have the option to set outputs per second, for example, on my test system I have an alarm go off at 4.20 pm exactly

Heh. Build a giant clock that actually shows the time. I've built one in creative. It's awesome, but exhausting at the same time.
