Why, oh why are they so damn creepy looking? It's like they're right out of some creepy pasta or something. Anyone else feel this way?

I kinda like the way they look. They just look like humble people who are happy to let you stay the night.

Although it's more like, stealing their homes, chopping them down for wood, killing their kin for amusement as they watch helplessly, and of course, stealing from their crops.

Perhaps their arms are folded together, but they're stuck together because a species-wide birth defect. Imagine what they would do if they could use their arms. Steve would certainly never take residence in a village again.

Or I'm just thinking too hard into this.

You just might be thinking to much into it! It's just they're always walking around, arms folded silent. They never do much of anything else. Even when trading comes I'll still be creeped out by them. Hell, I'm to creeped out to even kill the buggers....

every mob represents a race. the green creepers represents my explosive irish temper.

I get that mojaang wanted to diversify mobs, and possibly separate them from player characters, but i am sure almost everyone would agree that they should look more like the player.

I think they are like monks, with there arms in the their sleeves.

My friends and I refer to the villagers as "Squidwards".
