oh ok i thought it would just reset your nether to how it first was. but what still bugs me is im sure someone will accdently click restart when they didnt mean too
Or 4J will screw it up and it will forcibly reset your nether just by downloading the update. Anyone here remember the save name change option when it first dropped?

If does forcibly reset your Nether, it's not like your losing anything. You'll know exactly where the blaze spawners, nether wart, and the entire fortress are. As for anything you've built there, oh well, such is life.

No. Ocelots come with jungles. Jungles came in a different update. We might not see jungles in this update. The End, climbable vines, resetable nether, and spawn eggs have been confirmed I believe.

I need info about blaze spawning. I'm building blaze farm and i wonder how far from spawner blazes can spawn? Is spawn area 8-3-8?
IIRC Yes - it is an 8x8 square off the spawner. 7x7 will have the spawner centered - put the 8th block on the corner where both x & z are going down.
I believe you need an extra air space above the spawner for the blazes but I could be wrong on that. For my grinder, the bottom is open (etho design), so I just make sure to have the single air block between the top of the spawner and the bottom of the ceiling.

I'm sure the previous post you're replying to is discussing a Blaze XP farm. With a redstone crusher and all the trimmings. I've used etho's design myself, and it's really effective. Simply filling in the top lowers the spawn rate, and available spawn areas for blazes. Might be hard to notice because they are confined to a smaller space. That would work for manually killing the blazes, but in an xp farm it sorta nerfs it.
Blaze xp farms can be really nice and definitely worth the effort.

i for one see XP farms as the lazy way of getting XP thats why i dnt use them. for me its better to lower the spawn rate because i only need a few blaze rods

I dont think they are lazy. They are just a different way of getting XP.
I build them because I enjoy building them. Not soely so that I can benefit from the XP.
Same thing for cobble generators or auto wheat farms etc.

Work smarter not harder.
I wouldn't see a mob grinder as any more lazy than using TNT instead of shovels / picks to clear out a large area. Or maybe diamond / enchanted tools. Real men use stone tools too right?
Of course that's the beauty of this game - you get to play it however you want.

The reason I had edited It was because, I thought you guys had bumped this thread from 2012 but, I doubled checked and, It was 2013.
Although its still an 8 month old thread that should have stayed dead ._. thats why i said "its october guys..."
