Hi everyone, pretty new to Minecraft and new to Minecraft forum.
I'm trying to get blaze rods, but in my nether dimension I may have destroyed all the blaze spawners.
My questions are:
1. Do blaze spawn anywhere naturally? (if so, does game difficulty matter?)
2. If I have truly extinguished the blaze from my nether, is there a way to make a portal to a different nether or is there a 1-1 seed-nether ratio?
3. Is there any chance a blaze spawner could be underground in the nether and not in/around the fortress?

Has to be at least on easy and I can swear I saw them in a nether without a spawner... back when I was seed searching... :/

They spawn randomly in nether forts Also, you can get a new nether, but you will loose your current nether, much better to just walk away and find a new fortress. To get a completely new nether, go into your minecraft folder and under saves (Search for %appdata%, and then roaming, and then minecraft) Open the world you want and delete the file called DIM1, be carefull, DIM-1 is the end and if you have mods installed it might be more dimentions. Also, make sure you got nothing you are not willing to loose there and that you arent stuck there yourself. Just enter the portal again after you've deleted the nether and there you go; new nether. On the last question, sadly no, they only spawn in Nether Forts. Though they aren't too hard to find, just walk around a bit

Wow that sucks. Blaze spawners are my newest favorite thing. I have one that will take me from lvl1 to lvl30 in 20 mins, with all the glowstone and blaze rods I can handle. Gonna try and use the blaze rods for furnace fuel and see how that goes.

im guessing that as feul will go pretty well cosidering blazes are like a floating fire ball

4J will be adding the option to regenerate the Nether in worlds in a coming update. Just wait for that update, and you can reload your Nether the way it was before you went there.

Whoa there.... It's not very likely to come in the very next update since it's just an idea 4J have started looking into. If they do get it into the next update, I'll be very pleasantly surprised.

In my pre-bug fix world, I haveI never seen them away from the spawner (which I have set up as a spawn trap). However, in the post-bug fix nethers, I am encountering blaze quite a distance away from the spawner itself, so I think they are now spawning elsewhere in the fortress. However, I have not encountered blaze outside of the fortress.

Why would you not be happy about it? It would be optional and it's meant for people with older worlds who do not have Nether Fortresses, Blazes, or Nether Wart. They can reset their Nether and it will give them all the new stuff from the bug fix if they don't have it.

oh ok i thought it would just reset your nether to how it first was. but what still bugs me is im sure someone will accdently click restart when they didnt mean too

3. No. They only spawn in certain rooms in the fortress.
