Last night I saved a game and I went to load it this morning, and it wont load, I select it and the screen switches but it doesnt start to load. My question is two parts, is this a known issue? and does this mean Im kinda gonna loose everything I did with the world?

If you don't have a backup, you may indeed be hooped. However, I would try first renaming the file in Minecraft and then try loading the renamed file. (Why, renamed files are temporarily compressed until you open them after the rename.)
If that fails and only if that fails, try copying the file to a USB stick or the cloud and then delete the file on the hard drive. Copy the file back from the USB or cloud onto the hard drive. IMPORTANT: DO NOT rename the file on the USB stick as this may corrupt it (if it's not already corrupted). DO NOT rename the file on the hard drive either once you've made the USB and/or cloud copy. Delete the hard drive copy before attempting to copy the USB and/or cloud copy back onto the hard drive.
