Made a survival world to fight the ender dragon when the update comes out. I have recently ran out of things to do in the world. we have a hotel, homes, storage room, nether, potion room, enchantment room, farms of all kinds, and a boat dock. What else can we do to keep busy. Any ideas on what to build.
In one of my places I built a lot of real life things to keep busy I built a football stadium and I made it a role play server each of us had jobs and worked at the police station, football stadium, empire state building, world weaponry and more it is a very fun way to keep busy.
i like underwater glass houses and a battle field. the battlefield is an area about 80 by 80 blocks under an overhang about 5 blocks above the ground. the ground is covered with obsidian. u could cut this out under a mountain. the obsidian is to keep the creepers from blowing everything up. i made it to get the music disk from creepers when they are killed by skeletons.
anyone have any tips for this? i've been wanting to try it, but i'm just not sure where to start. not sure how to make it look good and like an actual tree.
make an amusement park. as mentioned. or a castle. or pixel art. look on youtube. roosterteeth does have some great ideas. build neighboring villages. make skyscrapers. or deserted town. the possibilities rly are endless. ik sometimes its a lil tough figuring out where to start some projects
I can get a full suit without a grider or my Jockey "Spawner" in about 2 RL days using animals alone...possibly with the occasional meat cooking.
(Diamond locating excluding.)
I find myself feeling this way on a regular basis.
At the moment, I am working on several projects in my Survival world. I built my main settlement (a mansion, greenhouse and breeding pens within a fenced-off perimeter) in a moderately-sized forest clearing, right on the edge of a large mountain range. The mountain directly across from my mansion is inconvenient in my eyes, so I am tearing it down by hand. Tedious, yes, but it does give me something to do and also an excess of cobblestone and dirt for future projects.
I am also working on clearing the bottom 4 levels (4-8) of my entire seed. As of now, having just recently started this, all I have is an entrance from my mansion down to bedrock level, and maybe 100 or so blocks in any direction cleared from the base of the steps. This will eventually branch into other projects, as multiple entrances will be necessary to make clearing the entire bottom of the seed less time-consuming.
Finally, simply collecting resources from natural caves/mineshafts/strongholds/the Nether. Offers enough variety and adventure to keep me interested, in between working the more tedious jobs listed above.
I do all this by myself, mind you. I do have friends that play, but we have a dedicated world to work together in. I get a certain amount of pleasure from accomplishing major tasks on my own in Minecraft, and then letting friends in to see what I've done.
So, yeah, plenty to do, but don't expect the game to not get a bit boring at times. That's natural.

With Minecraft the ideas are endless.
I promise you that.
Eww, no.
How about working on getting a full suit of enchanted Diamond Armour and an Infinity Bow without an XP farm as aforementioned?
Stay fluffy~
You could probably experiment with Pixel art. Either that, or deck out your village/ houses with awesomeness. Gather resources... there's tons to do.

Retired StaffErr, what? Nobody mentioned an XP grinder. The only one with a video I saw up there was a grinder designed to farm for drops.
