rotten flesh is the only thing in minecraft that I incinerate. i avoid picking it up when getting xp from zombies but when i do get it i have an incinerator built just for that purpose. is there any future for zombie flesh? will we be able to make potions or something or have they put this one thing in the game that is useless.
Rotten Flesh is great to feed your dogs with. They don't get sick, and it heals them if you give them enough. In my opinion, the most useless block in Minecraft is the sponge. It doesn't look good with builds, it doesn't suck up water like it used to, and it's only available in creative. Very pointless indeed.
If you despise those creatures like me, thenits only purpose is a last-minute food source.
Other than that, it is, and pretty much always will be, useless.
I just eat it. I know that it makes a potion effect of hunger on you but hey it fills your hunger if you stay still for a couple of seconds it won't kill you to wait! Also you could feed it to dogs and not waste meat like everyone else is saying!

But, you can always breed wolves, I think. Maybe you can only heal them. And it is good emergency food like in case you are starving and easy to obtain since there are zombies every night.
good points to everyone about feeding it to dogs but i have soooooo much meat from just taking out animals while doing other stuff that it's ridiculous. in current world i have 8 dogs and all i eat and feed the dogs is cooked beef. i don't even have to dip into my pork chops or chicken. my first night on this world i think i ate two apples and i have been a carnivor since. and this is on hard survival.

It gives you food poisoning but after awile it wears off. It gives you health but if you git hit and are still sick it will take double the health. I only eat it when Im in my base or a safe place. It has its uses. Its not useless Like Obsidian is after you have all the Neather Portals you want and prefer to build with cobblestone. The one good idea for obsidian would be Weapons and Armor but can you craft them no.

i eat zombie flesh ALL the time. because if you really do the math even eating just one you will still have more hunger when the poison hunger thing wears off.zombie meat is probably my favorite meat in the game says the zombie killer

Never realized you could feed it to wolves. Now I'm glad my hoarder tendencies prevented me from throwing it all out.
I don't eat the stuff on basic principle. Cannibalism is unacceptable in reality and virtual reality alike!

Instead of wasting your food on wolves, use Zombie Flesh. That is it's #1 use.
