They're usually active mob spawner trap sites, so I do go into them periodically (for as long as I keep the world, that is). I tend to go through a lot of survival worlds, though - i.e. delete them and start over in new ones. How long then does it normally take in terms of Minecraft days? (or are you thinking about a PC mod? - http://www.planetmin...obblestone-mod/)

Nada - no mossy cobblestone in either spawn trap. I do believe mossy cobblestone only generates at world creation. If you remove it and replace it with regular cobblestone, it remains regular cobblestone.
