Just looks like the portal was moved a little and remade... hence the secondary... Now which one is the original...? Oh well... it is a glitch or bug none the less... I think. Does happen though..

If you have a portal in the nether that has been deactivated and some other player comes into the game and builds a second portal within the range of the first, is the deactivated portal in the nether supposed to become reactivated?... or does a second portal generate as shown here?

no i was trapped in the nether my friend came to save me and only the portal re activated not made a new one

the activated portal is the original. i thought maybe if i activated the mystery portal it'd take me to some CRAZY PLACE but it took me to my over world portal.
also i was playing offline, so no one came in and built a second one.
