So the team and I figured its about time to expand our base area, there's a few new farms we wana implement and we need some new testing ground as well. After some debate we decided on roughly expanding by 8 additional chunks by 10.
Now for us expanding means we must do 2 things. First we always make sure that all land within 128 blocks of our base is 1 block below the sea, so nothing can spawn around us and interfere with our farms.
Next we 'hollow' out all the ground below, so that we have 1 block of water, 1 dirt, 1 cobblestone and then a fall directly to bedrock. Over top of the bedrock we place a layer of glass to prevent spawning. So expanding is a pretty big operation for us. Now we have a pretty good mob farm and gunpowder supply, as well as a sand generator so TNT is the obvious method for hollowing out under ground. We already lowered the land so that water was covering our expansion, and was moving to phase 2 of the operation, meaning we hollow out under the ground.
Now we don't just stick TNT everywhere and waste it, each charge is carefully placed so it triggers the next in a sequence of explosions that is easy for us to 'clean up' with as little work as possible. So 1 leaver triggers the entire detonation sequence. This is where it gets funny.
So this time it was another member of the teams turn to 'throw' the switch, so i placed down the 'key' TNT and backed away to a safe distance when i told him to go for it, and he did, pressing the leaver and nothing, i told him to check the key TNT to make sure i placed it in the right place, and when he did hes like its NOT there!
Then i heard him screaming that a endermen was attacking him with the TNT, i had gotta see this so sprinted down and sure enough there was a endermen hulking over him beating him with the key TNT, i laughed so hard i just about busted a gut. I had never seen this before and thought it was one of the funniest moments I've had in MC todate.

What took me totally by surprise is that I didn't think they could pick up TNT, at first I thought he was lieing and just wanted someone to get hurt or die in the explosion, you know joke kinda thing, like we are all doing to one another sometimes.
