As I was watching a youtube video of some guys playing on a survival map, I noticed that all the islands was
floating and If you fell off you fell into void/end of the world. Is this some type of mod or something?
Edit: How are the landscapes floating on a superflat land world?
Why Is It If you fall off one of the landscapes you Die in the Void, Or out of the world?

It's probably an Adventure Map. I don't think you can download Adventure Maps for XBox.
The title made It seem like i was asking if this was in the 360 ver. Im just trying to figure out if this is a mod so I don't look forward to it.
Also Its kinda like a skyblock
what? I have a map that has the void. It is just under unbreakable Bedrock.
Not personally witnessed anything but it is in the 1.8.2 change-log. "Removed the void by making it impossible to break the bottom/top layer of bedrock." I've probably misinterpreted that.
It is not a mod. On the PC you can break the bottom layer of bedrock exposing the void.
That sounds right, But it doesn't sound 100% right.

Ignore the speakers.
But the map clearly has been dug up all the way around.
There must be some type of option to clear for superflat land void style.
Also they have chunks of landscape floating...how...I don't think they build it
As In (they) I mean creators Obv
It could have also been a custom superflat created with only a single layer of sand as the ground, no bedrock, and the sand drops into the void after the first bock is placed and they then spend many hours placing the blocks to create the islands.
Question! Correct me If I'm wrong but isn't there a map edit program for the PC that allows you to take chunks from other worlds to your current world?

Yes there is, it's called MCedit, it is nice, but learning how to use it at first can be tough (i've recently started playing around with it. it's pretty cool, and i've seen a vid where someone used it to create 3d animations in vanilla MC for the PC, very sweet)
Better World Generation (which is an awesome mod) provides a floating islands generator. I have no idea about mods for Xbox 360 though.
I never said "Mod" and "Xbox" in the same sentence. I Am simply trying to figure out how the map was made.
If It was some kind of Program/Mod so I won't be looking forward to It in the future. From the last couple of post It seems that Its a program that can move landscape so looks like a done deal
