All silk touch blocks currently work with the exception of Glass Panes and Ice. There may be more but these are the only ones I have actually found.
*EDIT* Found an interesting bug here... Animals cannot see (And follow) wheat through tile entities. Originally I thought this was just grass, but it includes Flowers, Snow, Mushroomms, and others as well! I think this is whats causing peole to have problems with animals following them.
Sometimes Animals will not follow wheat and also if you fall, then quickly exit and save, you will continue to fall but not take fall damage... Also if you press the left trigger in creative, while aimed at the lower hit box of an iron door, the door will make the opening sound or closing sound
Also sheep in my world DO NOT grow their wool back.
Seriously? Sheep have never grown wool back in any version of Minecraft on Xbox 360. The feature hasn't been implemented yet, but will be implemented in the next update. Or did you miss that the 50 times it was said earlier in this thread and in every other thread on the topic?
Not really a bug per say, but I feel like breeding is currently utterly useless because of the way mobs respawn.
I don't need to use breeding because I can slaughter pigs, cows, chickens, shear sheep, etc, and they'll just respawn quickly. I have a chest full of steaks and porkchops without breeding. Having animals spawn the old way, while also having breeding, renders the latter unneeded and useless in my opinion.
Mindlessly slaughtering animals should not be more efficient than breeding.
(Again I know this isn't a bug, hopefully, but it just feels like having the spawning like it was before the Adventure Update 'TU5' renders breeding useless)
Finally got around to doing some more tests on this and I think I figured out why you can't reproduce the issue and also figured out the triggers. I've got plenty of screenshots to help, and again if you need let me know and i will make the map available whenever you need.
Above is a image that shows some sand replacement that has taken place, mainly across the top and top right, Notice the trees as well as the lily pads, these were 'NOT' placed by the team and are a direct result of the sand/clay replacement.
Below is a image of where I replaced all the sand with dirt, removed the trees and lily-pads, exited and saved, reloaded. To my supprise no replacement took place. Thats when I started digging alittle deeper into this issue. I mentioned before that we have a massive underground cave, in fact there is only 2 layers of dirt and a layer of cobblestone at the top, then its hollow straight down to bedrock. Once below i found a lava stream coming in that takes place on the outer walls and i caped it with a piece of glass as usual, exited and saved, reloaded, and this took place. (notice the sand/tree replacement on the top)
Thus its not the dirt replacement that is the trigger its a replacement that takes place below ground. Our 'map border' walls consists of the one we can't mine and one additional block that we place as a just incase scenario, this 'mine able' wall is the trigger. See the next image.
This image shows one of the map border walls, each spot you see a piece of glass with a torch over it is where a water or lava stream came 'after' a exit and save, each time we stop this stream is when a sand replacement takes place. I realize its hard to see but you can see a water stream coming in almost directly in front of me that was 'not' there initially once i cap this water stream another sand replacement will take place.
If you look closely there are several spots where diamonds are on the wall, these can be mined every reload as they keep respawning when a sand replacement is done above. In fact all resources on that wall in that chunk per say can be mined over and over again as they will keep respawning so long as they are replaced with stone when i exit and save and a sand replacement is done above.
I hope this helps.
Let me know if you require any additional info.
This is all occurring at the edge of the world?
Also was this the same seed you provided before?
And lastly is the wall in the last picture manmade (Built up against the worlds edge?)

Yes, yes and yes. When you reach bedrock, and are near the edge of the map you will find a block that you can't mine, you can't place a block against it either, but if you look down you can place a block and build upwards, this is how we made that wall. Also i should note that the wall you can't mine is not always flat, in fact its quite often not, and you can't stick a torch on it to stop mobs from spawning and they 'will spawn' there, however if you turn around and look at the wall you built you can place lava against this and it will flow 'strangely' but with some work you can prevent mobs from spawning in these areas. Mob spawning should be adjust to not be able to spawn in this area imho since its soooooo hard to control.

Thanks, I'll play about with the edge of world building and see what I can reproduce.

One last thing was the man made wall entirely made out of Stone or Dirt or just a mixture of them all?

I'm in abandoned mine with the 3x3 tunnel that has 3 wood across the top and 2 fence posts stacked on each other at both sides. This leaves a gap of 1 wide and 2 high to walk through. I blocked the gap with cobblestone and spiders got through the sides where the fence posts were. I blocked it all off but the centre cube had a slab on it so I could see the spiders and they still got through a 1/2 by 1 gap.
Also when blocking areas off so that only the corners of blocks are touching, the spiders are able to knock me; although I can see their heads and a few legs I can't always hit them. I don't think it is right that I should be able to hit a spiders that is behind a block, is it normal for them to squeeze through in these manners or is it a bug?
Kind regards
I now have skeletons poping through walls too.
Did you have a spawner near you when the spiders squeezed through the fence, perhaps they may have spawned. Also, when the spider squeezed through the 2x1 opening, was it a cave spider, if it was a cave spider it was able to do that because their size is actually 0.5x1. The corner block thing is normal, that's just common wall glitching.
I've been having an issue lately while playing survival.
I set my animal farm with chickens, pigs, cows and sheep, all are in seperate pens. Ive been having issues trying to breed, my animals go into love mode but they wont make babies.
Also, my sheep will not regrow back their wool after being sheared.
They are on grass and I had to bonemeal the dirt to give them tall grass
But that still doesn't help.
Has this been happening to anybody? Its rather annoying since im in need of wool.

If you read back in this thread even just a few posts, you will see answers already provided to both your questions. Sheep will not grow back wool until after the NEXT update. Your issue is animals not producing offspring probably means that your cap (limit) on animals has been reached and no more will spawn or breed until some are killed or despawn. The reason for wild animals not despawning when you leave the area is probably that they are in locations where they cannot move more than 20 blocks... or it may be just that you haven't left the immediate area of your animal pens for some time. Check out the ledges of cliff and ravine faces and you may spot several stranded on these single-block columns. You may also find some trapped in sinkholes and caves.
I don't need to use breeding because I can slaughter pigs, cows, chickens, shear sheep, etc, and they'll just respawn quickly. I have a chest full of steaks and porkchops without breeding. Right on, man. I just dont understand why they keep trying to breed and pen animals when its broken. Its all the same people posting the same issue, too (you know who you are).
Anyway, found a minor bug not mentioned yet:
When HUD opacity is set, crouching or sprinting reverts the Level number display to full-brightness (no opacity).
Also, when mining blocks that are directly above a lava source, the hissing sound rarely plays when the block entity falls in.
This is a really minor issue... One of the sayings that flash at the bottom of the load screen contains a spelling error... "Bonemeal corafted from skeleton boneS..." I don't mind the funky "s" on bones; but reading "corafted" all the time is starting to get to me after several months of patiently waiting for someone else to notice it...
I would like to know if is a bug or intended, but ravines are actually cut off on land when there is an ocean biome next to it.
Sorry bout' the darkness, but this is just 1 example of worlds worst ravine. It acts like it was on the edge of the map. Like having a wall barrier near where the edge of the map would be. Although this is happening just with an ocean biome next to another biome with a surface ravine cut up by these "barriers". The picture is just part of the ravine. There is more to the ravine that curves into the land doing the same thing when it nears the ocean biome.
Just wondering if this was intended or not, as to me it is like I was on the edge of the world without being on the edge of the world.O_o

Could you provide the Seed and coordinates for that world?

Fethliin (don't have the #, as that is what I inputted. I'll see if I can get the # if this doesn't work.)
Anyway the coords are:
x27 y64 z -279
x-10 y64 z -246
I am unsure if those are the same ones, but near the first coordinates there is a small hole that continues that specific one. In a way that it looks, it seems that they would have been the same one if it did generate on the surface of the ocean.

had to make sure I wrote the number down correct... But that is the number if the alphanumeric doesn't work.:D
since the newest update has anyone found any slimes ive been making my underground room bigger and bigger and now its about 100 by 100 all lit up and still no slimes also netherwart does not grow outside the nether. it can be planted but never gets any bigger

Slimes will only spawn in certain chunks. Not 100% sure but I think they will always spawn in strongholds so try looking for one. Also make sure you are at Y: 30 or lower.
Netherwart is functioning as intended. Build a wart farm right near your portal for easy farming.

Title Update 9 will be adding this feature. so as of right now, they will not regrow their wool because it is not in the game.
