All I'm asking is if somebody out there has had this problem, so maybe, just maybe, they could give me a little insight. Instead, I get bad advice from people who don't read my post. If I could have posted this somewhere else more relevant, I would have. Since the bug list for TU7 has been locked, there's nowhere I can post a question about what I believe is a bug.
I CAN'T update my version of Minecraft. If you had read my post, you wouldn't have suggested that, because I clearly stated that I can't update to TU8. Twice. And, before you tell me to do it again, looking back at the PC updates and fixes won't solve anything, because this could be a glitch with the 360 coding language, which is C++, not Java. Fixes for PC might not work on Xbox. The fixes I did find have nothing to do with Xbox, because they involved removing mods, changing files, or allocating more RAM, which is all impossible to do on the Xbox.
hmm.... still though, you said similar in your original post. More to what you are asking is a slow down in the interactive menus. I thought that was actually reduced at least a little with the current update. So when you can might be good to do so, just to see if that helps. Until then I am unsure what to suggest, as there truly isn't any work arounds for this. Sorry I couldn't be much help...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Also my nether fortress doesn't have a blaze spawner in it.
My seed (175897888), also has no Blaze spawner. It was a decent seed I found after TU 7 update, so I remade it after TU 8 came out. Since its Nether Fortress already had a patch of Nether Wart, and a Blaze spawner I was okay with its very small size (I was happy to have found one at all, that it had Blazes and Nether Wart....wow). TU 8 has moved the fortress, enlarged its number of hallways, added a second patch of Nether Wart - and removed its one Blaze spawner. As I died just after exiting the Nether, and I had not saved during my time there, I currently have no presence in the Nether. I did go in on Peaceful so I have to return to see if there's another fortress that spawns Blazes. If so, I'll save, otherwise I'll exit w/out save and wish the Nether into the Void.
Edit: going through with live mobs did me no good, but after going creative in desperation, I found a Blaze spawner at my Nether fortress. Spawner was totally enclosed instead of having an opening, but I'm good.
The map doesn't seem to be drawing unless you have it in hand.
It's always acted that way for XBox. I believe it to be the normal function, though it would be nice to have your map update as long as it's in your hot bar.
i have a harder time hitting cave spiders then the normal spiders someone it seems like im on target i dont seem to have a problem bouncing back normal spiders with cave spiders its hit box seems lower to the ground they always hit me once when it seems like im aiming at them and i have to aim lower or are cave spiders smaller i cant tell if they are they also fit through 1x1
So before the last update my map was malfunctioning?
No really before the update I could have the map in my inventory and it would draw without it being in my hand.
I have never even had it update the map when it was in inventory or not selected in the hot bar... It always for me, had to be in hand and selected on the hot bar. Walk and holding it to unveil the map...
Unless I am missing something in your post, or misunderstanding...

I don't think any glass can be recollected yet on the 360. I know on the PC, you can recollect it with a silk touch pickaxe, but they're on a later update than we are. Wait until TU9. Maybe you can collect them then.

I could reclaim glass panes in TU7 but not now in TU8
I could reclaim glass panes in TU7 but not now in TU8
It was considered a bug in TU7 since you didn't need to have any special tool to recollect glass panes... so, they fixed it to match what the PC had back at that time.

Glass blocks can be recollected with Silk Touch.

When generating a world sometimes you may have no END portal. This is due to the fact that Strongholds will sometimes generate on the edge of the map and the END portal room will be cut-off.
Alright sheep aren't growing their wool back at all! Like I understand sheep don't need to eat to grow there wool back in our version but my sheep don't EVER grow their wool back like they are supposed to!
So please understand my bug is that sheep won't grow their wool back in my survival peaceful game in my swamp biome. (I am not sure if any of the difficulty, gamemode, or biome is relevant to this bug or not)

The only way for sheep to grow back wool is by eating grass, we won't get that feature until TU9.
Here's a page where you can read about it. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Sheep

They fit through a 1x1, so, yes, they are smaller. Probably faster, too
None of the tests I have tried have caused the bug to happen so far.
If possible could you screenshot the areas before/after along with the coordinates/seed
Finally got around to doing some more tests on this and I think I figured out why you can't reproduce the issue and also figured out the triggers. I've got plenty of screenshots to help, and again if you need let me know and i will make the map available whenever you need.
Above is a image that shows some sand replacement that has taken place, mainly across the top and top right, Notice the trees as well as the lily pads, these were 'NOT' placed by the team and are a direct result of the sand/clay replacement.
Below is a image of where I replaced all the sand with dirt, removed the trees and lily-pads, exited and saved, reloaded. To my supprise no replacement took place. Thats when I started digging alittle deeper into this issue. I mentioned before that we have a massive underground cave, in fact there is only 2 layers of dirt and a layer of cobblestone at the top, then its hollow straight down to bedrock. Once below i found a lava stream coming in that takes place on the outer walls and i caped it with a piece of glass as usual, exited and saved, reloaded, and this took place. (notice the sand/tree replacement on the top)
Thus its not the dirt replacement that is the trigger its a replacement that takes place below ground. Our 'map border' walls consists of the one we can't mine and one additional block that we place as a just incase scenario, this 'mine able' wall is the trigger. See the next image.
This image shows one of the map border walls, each spot you see a piece of glass with a torch over it is where a water or lava stream came 'after' a exit and save, each time we stop this stream is when a sand replacement takes place. I realize its hard to see but you can see a water stream coming in almost directly in front of me that was 'not' there initially once i cap this water stream another sand replacement will take place.
If you look closely there are several spots where diamonds are on the wall, these can be mined every reload as they keep respawning when a sand replacement is done above. In fact all resources on that wall in that chunk per say can be mined over and over again as they will keep respawning so long as they are replaced with stone when i exit and save and a sand replacement is done above.

It's a bug, Cave Spiders currently appear to be the same size as Spiders, but they're actually about half the size of a normal spider hit box is still the same size of a normal spider, Their hitbox is still the same though.
Actually they did implement the chickens following seeds, I think the problem is that Radical924 is not waiting long enough for the chickens to follow. It seems like you have to get right up in their faces with seeds to get them to follow you.
No it is a bug trust me I had to leave and rejoin my world to get chickens to follow me. Also sheep in my world DO NOT grow their wool back. If 4JStudios would like to see for themselves add me on xbox and you can join and see. I also have another world that stopped working since tu7... It is 1/4 covered in ice so I and others are mighty mad lol.

Of course not. In order for the map to draw you must have it in hand. That is the way that maps work...
