1. How high can you get a minecart to jump? Will you instantly start to fall when you leave the track, or will the momentum keep you flying upward momentarily? If the latter, how much of a trajectory (in squares) do you think you could get before the apex for the jump?
2. If you hit a monster at all, you get experience orbs no matter how he died, right? I mean if I wallop a spider with my sword and he flies off a cliff.... that counts as a kill on my part, right?
3. Speculation: why do we have even have gold armor and tools when they are so feeble?
4. DO slimes spawn in swamps? I have heard they do but I never have seen one in my current world's swamp.
5. Another speculation one: I have a village right in front of my castle. If I expand the village with "Villager-spawning" criteria (doors under roofs), will villagers spawn in there, or is this set by distance from the well?
6. Does armor absorb falling damage?
7. Is it really true that the bottom entry on the Enchantment List will yield the best enchantments (intensity and quantity) and I should therefore keep select/unselecting until a 30 appears down there, or is this an urban legend?
8. When I'm doing the wood farming thing (find a flat plain, drop a sapling, bone fertilize it, chop it down, repeat), sometimes I get an annoying "top mutation", where the tree branches off in random directions with wood generated impossibly high to retrieve (unless I pillar up). Is this because the leaf squares didn't properly dissipate before I started the new tree? Or was it just the luck of the draw?
9. Are Endermen totally immune to arrows? I could swear I sniped one with a direct hit, with his back turned to me, many squares away, and he just teleported off.
10. Is it true monsters will not swim out further that one block of water unless immediately pursuing someone?

2.) You must deal the final blow to get the XP.
3.) I suppose if you are limited on other resources to build, it's a quick way to get a strong, but less durable tool.
4.) Most likely in a later update.
6.) No. Armor does not absorb fall damage. Only the enchantment "feather falling" will affect the damage.
7.) The wiki is only in regards to the PC version. It does not apply to MCX360.
9.) Endermen have 40 health points. You'd need to hit him at least 8 times with a normal arrow.
10.) No

1. Never tried... but usually in most cases it is a dead fall... However since I not tested that or had the need to do something like that, it is possible but wouldn't be anything grand in distance. That is if it is anything like how the pc is about it in the programming. It would be a few blocks out at high speed 2-4 at best I think... but only testing will tell on that one.
2. I thought yes at first, but I believe you have to have the final kill to get xp.
3. some people just like gold. I don't I can't stand the stuff. I only use it for rails anyhow. I would use it in potion making however I have yet to get that far in the game with a map so far.
4. Not yet. If 4J decides to add this they will. That was something that came out in I think 1.3 or 1.4 pc... So chances are we may or may not get it. Right now NO. Y40 and below is where they spawn in specific chunks.
5. NO. That has not been implemented yet. Villagers do not procreate at all at this time. That will be in a later update if not the next one.
6. Yes and no. I usually don't wear armor soooo... I don't know for sure... I am not sure what 4J changed with armor. If it is in relation to recent things on the pc, well at least 1.3 or 1.4 similar to that then only boots take damage when falling. Otherwise all would I think. So some of the damage, but possibly not all?!?! unless of course you have feather fall on boots... that is different.
7. Myth. Some people it works and some it doesn't...
8. no. That is what you call a medium or large if not huge oak tree. It has a chance to grow with many branches... usually if you pillar up from where the trunk was you will be able to reach out to all those limbs little by little... It does not go beyond that limit for you to reach when you pillar... It is just the way trees grow... Well oak trees. Spruce and Birch only have the one trunk always, just vary in height. Spruce can vary in style of the leaves.
9. You can hit them, it is just not so easy to do so. Especially with bows... But I believe the programming has them tele before arrow hits, if that is still in then no.
10. umm... they haven't updated the mob ai yet, so I would have to say no.
8:) There are a few different sizes in trees.. i think its 3, but its random which size they grow too. the larger ones are a real pain. The way around this is to build a room big enough to house the 2 smaller trees but not the largest. Make sure you have enough lighting or the trees wont grow.
...
there are 3 types of oaks small medium and large roughly....
1.The small ones vary a little in height, but no extra branches.
2.The medium ones usually taller than the small ones but will contain a few branches here or there.
3.The Large ones well... that should be self explanatory. You get branches within branches almost like a gaia tree or well a miniature version of one...><
So actually to have an in-door one with out sprouting the medium sized ones.. You would need 7-8 height total and 5x5 area for 1 tree. Oak can be planted next to each other and still grow, albeit a lot longer to do so. Optimal spacing is 2 inbetween each tree.
2. If you hit them and they die within 5 seconds of taking damage from you, you will receive XP.
4. Slimes spawning in swamps was added to a later version of PC.
8. If you place a block 9 high off the ground above the sapling the trees shouldn't grow that large. I'm not sure if you can use bonemeal when there is that black though.
9. Enderman cannot be hit by projectiles. I believe there is a bug where if you shoot them with a flame bow, they take no damage from the arrow, but they will be lit on fire.
7. as the 360 version is a direct port from the pc version i dont know why ppl keep saying the bottom tear of the enchantment table (which is said to be the best) only applies to the pc version ?
Having enchanted numerous level 1 items, I refuse to believe that a level 1 efficiency enchantment (which appears to be the norm) in the bottom slot will be better than whatever higher level enchantment exists in the other two slots.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, it's hard to believe that any enchantment on the bottom would be much better than efficiency 4, unbreaking 4, silk touch 1/fortune 3 in the middle slot. If the wiki were true, then those level 30 enchantments like that should appear on the bottom, at least some of the time,... and not always in the middle.
2. If you hit a monster at all, you get experience orbs no matter how he died, right? I mean if I wallop a spider with my sword and he flies off a cliff.... that counts as a kill on my part, right?
I've gotten XP from simply pushing mobs off a cliff, not even hitting them. So yes.
5. Another speculation one: I have a village right in front of my castle. If I expand the village with "Villager-spawning" criteria (doors under roofs), will villagers spawn in there, or is this set by distance from the well?

You can control this by building a roof for your tree farm. Any trees that spawn beneath the roof will not grow taller than it.
9. Are Endermen totally immune to arrows? I could swear I sniped one with a direct hit, with his back turned to me, many squares away, and he just teleported off.

you forgot the 4th one, the swamp version, it's basically the same, except no random branches on the large one, just a straight trunk (kinda like quarter sized jungle trees)
argue with wiki m8, im only going by what that says, and ive no reason to not believe we have a direct port from the pc version atm,
seems a waste of time have the other 2 there if the middle one (that always gives you lvl30) gives you the best results,
tbh i really cant be bothered to go and test it as you would need to spend hrs trying, so if thats what you believe then so be it.....
You're a fool to take a wiki as fact, especially when it comes to the xbox version. Anyone and their mother can change what a wiki says... that hardly makes it reliable. I could change it to say donkeys fly out of your butt with level 30 enchantments... but that doesn't make it fact because it's on wiki.
I have not once stated that the middle one gives you the best enchantment, either. I have found it to be random. I've had numerous cases of the best enchantment appearing in any slot. All I stated was that the best enchantment always appearing in the bottom slot was a fallacy in the case of the 360 version.
It is, however, possible... that the bottom enchantment may be the most efficient use of enchantment levels. There is no possible way of telling that without knowing what all the enchantment options you have available are, though.

Actually you can not grow those.... That is naturally generated when you first make a map. Bonemeal or saplings will not grow into that one.
It is true there is that type, but you can not grow one, although you could manually make one... I was mainly referring to what you can grow with saplings with or without bonemeal.
Also the small has mainly 3 generations; the bush the tree and the taller tree. Basically.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
When you have a mob grinder for drops, why do you not get XP from them dying from fall damage? You are wrong, do some tests, look it up, etc.
Now you're the one misunderstanding. You don't get XP from a fall grinder because you aren't the one causing the damage. When I PUSH mobs from cliffs, I AM the one causing damage. It does not need to come from a weapon strike, is what I am saying. I don't need to "look it up," or "do some tests," because I HAVE DONE IT.

Does not exist.
I already said that... o.O
I've had minecarts carry across gaps that drop, but not jumps. I may try this soon.
I've gotten XP from simply pushing mobs off a cliff, not even hitting them. So yes.
Easier to get high level enchantments.
Not unless that swamp is y:40 or lower and in a slime chunk (not yet, anyway).
Not yet.
No. Falling does no damage to armor.
I've found the middle one is usually highest.
You can control this by building a roof for your tree farm. Any trees that spawn beneath the roof will not grow taller than it.
I thought they were, now I am doubting it.
False. I've had monsters pursue me across bays.
You're welcome!

I think you misunderstood the question. He is wondering if hostile mobs will go swimming without a person to chase.
Yes, it is true. I have done it.
I did misunderstand. But then the answer still applies. I've seen monsters in water deeper than 1 block as I've approached them.
