so I typed in alone for a map seed, all in lower case, and I cant find the wart anywhere ,two blaze spawners but no wart and this was done after the TU8 update ................ isnt it supposed to be in every world now ?

so I typed in alone for a map seed, all in lower case, and I cant find the wart anywhere ,two blaze spawners but no wart and this was done after the TU8 update ................ isnt it supposed to be in every world now ?
Well, it seems that they fixed the issue with Nether Fortresses not spawning, but did not guarantee Nether Warts or Blaze Spawners would spawn.
- Fix for random crash on Kick Player. - Fix for a random crash on loading the tutorial. - Fix for freeze when writing on a sign as an autosave starts. - Fix for crash when attempting to enter an online enabled game session after losing connection to the Xbox LIVE service. - Performance improvement for the Enchantment interface. - Fix to display a message when monsters are nearby on trying to sleep in a bed. - Fix for an issue causing blocks to reappear after being destroyed when the server is busy. - Fix for Experience Orbs being invisible for a period of time when created. - Fix for Experience Orbs pick up sound. - Fix to force a Nether Fortress, Blaze Spawner and Nether Wart to always be present in the Nether for a newly created world.
I thought everything I read on the internet was true....... this is a sad day ........... a sad day indeed.............LOL
so I guess its back to checking out the seed with creative mode first because I am sick and tired of putting time into maps to find out I'm screwed

I only know due to I have only had 1 map so far that didn't... I generated a lot of maps.... All the rest did have. For some reason I guess since it was a low % it escaped their detection. It happens, and that is what we are here for, to point things like this out to them. Oh and by the way this has been mentioned before.

I look at it this way, as I have mentioned before in another topic, before the update when I ever generated a map that I liked I never even got a fortress, so in essence I can say they got a step further to what they had in mind. Cause' now ever map I loaded so far has had a fortress, which is way better than was before. that means at least I can harvest nether bricks in the very least, unlike all my maps before. Besides I play on several maps anyway, each having their own charm or inspiration put into them.

Like Tamorr said, maybe it's a very low percentage of maps that may not get netherwart after all. You should report this bug to the Offcial Bugs Thread, so that 4JStudios may fix it within the next update.
