I've been trying out a lot of seeds for Xbox version 1.3.1. And it seems as if none of the seeds are working. By that I mean I enter the seed into the seed bar, create a new world and the seed described is absolutly nothing like the one I got, it's like a completely random seed. Does anybody else have this problem?
You are using seeds from where? the pc version of 1.3.1? If so then of course those don't work....--_--
There is no section for 1.3.1 seeds on the xbox, only TU7-8 seeds thread pinned at the top.
Right now especially since quite a few things are changing in the generation code, I don't think you will be able to use pc seeds in the first place... And right now it is equivalent of 1.0.1 pc version anyhow...O_o

I can never find PC 1.0.1 seeds o__O only 1.0 &1.1 will these work?
I was having the same issues for a while, a day or two after TU7 came out put in a couple seeds from the TU7 seeds thread and none were as described, like you said just a random seed. I have only tried a couple since then and they have worked fine. I am guessing that people had just gotten the update and posted their current world seed thinking it would stay the same or something. The ones I was mostly having trouble with was the named seeds rather than the numbered seeds.

Both TU7 and TU8 are version 1.0.1. TU8 was just a bug fix. However, since one of the fixes involved fortress generation in the nether, the nether of the TU7 seeds changed. That is, the TU8 fortresses are not located in the same place they were in TU7. From what I've seen so far, the overworld of the TU7 seeds in TU8 is essentially the same as before.

there are no 1.3.1 seeds just TU7/TU8 seeds... It may say 1.3.1 on wiki, but does not say that here on this site... Reason why I mentioned TU7 and 8.
