Minecraft has gotten really freaky since the latest update.
My brother, when he logged in, can't change the angle of his viewer. He can move around with the right joystick, but the left is not working for him. In other words, he can not turn around. Also, in creative, his hotbar is completely missing and the gamma/HUD opacity start out at 0.
What's up with this?
We have determined the following:
-The gamma glitch can be resolved with the slider.
-It is not a problem with the controller (Multiple tested)
-It is a problem localized within his Live Account (Other accounts work fine)
- In split screen, we can see the hotbar, and items can be picked up/placed.
If it helps any, his Xbox Live account name is Ryrygy. He is NOT taking friend requests from strangers.
Is anyone else having this problem?Any advice? It's making our multiplayer world impossible!
We have not. However, the other controls work fine, including the other joystick, so I don't know how the sensitivity would work. We also already took care of the gamma issue. Trying it now.

Is the "Display HUD" box checked? How about is the "Interface Opacity: 100%"?

The interface opacity was up, but I already figured out that the Display HUD box was unchecked shortly before you mentioned it.
The problem is solved, but I still have no idea why the things all turned down or unchecked, especially to only his account. Thank you for your help!

It's a common glitch that tends to happen after updates, or just randomly. Not everyone gets it, but a lot of people seem to.
