tried 4 times in a row now, the patch came out about 30 minutes ago.... since then the game just freezes on the loading portal screen. actually the whole xbox freezes.
i have had problems with nether crashes and the one thing that seems to work is going far away from your existing portal and build a new one then enter the portal come back out and your original portal may be fixed.
The patch shouldn't touch existing worlds, but what causes the game to crash are things like ender pearls and nether portals, it means the portal in the nether either de-activated or is blocked. Check for trolls on your server.
Just head probably 70 blocks away and build a new portal.

Destroy newly spawned portal.
Go through old one.
Problem solved.
