On Xbox Edition i've recently been mining a lot and have just stupidly found out that I have already filled 8 chests (4 large chests) of cobblestone. I'm not sure if I should build something massively big or use it for something practical. What should I do with it all?
Like the above said,you can smelt it into smooth stone or stone bricks,or just build something with cobble.There's plenty you can do with that much material Just gotta find something and start building
i have had similar amounts recently. one double chest for nether castle. one double chest for mob grinder. one chest for various smaller projects. little over one double chest left.
I'm always running low on cobble, but usually have like at least 1 single chest worth of it...lol
I like making things with the combination of the stone, stone bricks, cobble, and their stairs/slabs that go with them.:D That and I have a habit of making stone tools...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Well, I'll have you know that I've been hoarding massive amounts of cobble stone on another PC server a while back, but other than that I actually haven't finished what I'm mining so I'll still have a lot more chests full when I think i'm completely finished.
Well when I have a lot of cobblestone I just build a castle. You can also turn some of the cobblestone to natural stone then to stone slabs and then make the castle look more finished.
Make a ton of furnaces, put the all the stacks in, when you want exp, take the smelted blocks out of furnace.
You can also make a record machine!!
Find a skelton spawner, then build around it so there is a big dark room above it, put water in there to funnel the spawned creepers to a thin space. So when the skeletons shoot arrows at you, they hit the creepers, and they drop a record! Collet all 12

Cobblestone is the staple of building in this game, for good reason -- it looks sharp, and best of all, it's very resistant to Creeper explosions.
I laugh at you. I'm in the 70s.
Anyhoof, I covered an entire Nether Ocean with my Cobblestone.
The Nether is an even bigger maelstrom of fireballs now....
