I seem to have broken night on my forming RP world.
I have been buidling up a massive wall at the edge of the world by ascending and descending in rows due to this being the fastest way.
While doing so, I noticed the stars twitching back slightly in the sky as I went up and down.
I looked up in the sky and the moon was about 12:00.
15 RL minutes of working later, it's still at its apex.
I ceased work altogether and watched the moon, and sure enough it was jumping back in time every few seconds, making a 7-minute night last...well, it's been over 20 and still going....
Has anyone else broken time or have I gained a not-so-supernatural ability to extend a day or night?
That sounds... interesting... if only that happened in my friends world cuz we need dark. Also, no, it hasn't happened too me. This is really interesting.
I've had this happen to me as well. I was building a water world on flatland so I placed water along 2 intersecting sides and let the water start filling itself as an infinite water source.....the result was lag so bad that it didn't turn night for over 20 minutes. I finally gave up and just quit without saving.

(Yes.)

Nope, I like the night.
Doubt it. Everything is running fine except the sky. Blocks aren't despawning and all living entities are moving normally....

Retired StaffI think is one of the most obvious things I've ever read here....
And I never said I wanted it to be day time.
