When I first downloaded the 360 edition, there were no problems. Animals didn't follow you then, and the only spawnable animals were chickens.
Then I updated last week, and I can make animals follow me only in a newly created world. I made a very large Stronghold with lots of buildings, and now, there are no animals populating it.
There are absolutely no animals. I searched the entire world. They despawned, and won't come back.
Also, there are no villagers in my little huts.
What is the problem, and could someone fix it, I think this may be a major bug, I havent played since, and don't really want to start a new world.
Any info would be great, thanks
you can not create a village, as villagers do not spawn that way. You can only get those with a new map at the moment.
As for the despawning, that right now has been happening usually when animal spawn hits a cap for them. Sure you have the correct version? As animals spawn all over the place. The main problem I have is sometimes they despawn randomly just to make room for something else that will spawn in its' place...
The only thing I can think of is if your map is not spawning animals, either it is full of desert or ocean... usually they spawn on grass blocks. So if you don't have any grass blocks then of course you will not have any spawn. However they do not spawn at the same rate as 1.7.3, they are a bit slower on respawn, but not by much. Or should be anyway...O_o
