after working countless hours over the past few weeks raising my hiscores for farming on "easy" mode, i logged in today to find that I had been knocked back from rank 1536 (my previous rank) to roughly the 1.6 million mark.
every single one of my farming hiscores had been set back to near 0, i previously had farmed over 5,000 sugarcanes, i was now left with less than 300 in my hiscores, despite me having 6 chests filled with sugarcane.
I have not illegitimized my minecraft world, so there is no reason for this to happen (even if i had entered into creative mode, my current hiscores shouldnt have disappeared anyways).
This needs to be fixed as soon as possible, I am not going to enter into any world that has hiscores enabled as I do not want to update the hiscores. If needed I can provide pictures of my varies farms (egg, pumpkin, wheat, sugarcane, etc...) as proof that i do not only have 38 wheat farmed...
Any information as to why this has happened would help me clear my head, but I will be asking for a refund if this is not fixed.
If you load your map on creative before doing it alerts you that leaderboards and achievement would be disable even if you load it in survival again and it may be as you load your map on creative the map file modifies so the system don't pull the stats from this file anymore
Also I think it would be kind of rude to ask for a refund for just the leaderboard
You'll soon get over it. Many, many people, including me, have had their leaderboard stats reset a number of times. The simple solution to this problem would be to just scrap leaderboards for Minecraft all together.
