I've had instances of the last two pictures, except with water, not lava. I've since deleted the map, but there were random doors floating in the middle of the ravine, which lead me to finding the stronghold. It was a beautiful sight once it was all lit up...Wish I'd have taken a screenshot or two..

The good people, they always die. And the bad people do too...But the weaker people, the people like me, WE have inherited the Earth. -Morgan Jones
I too have been getting the animals spawning on ledges or on cliffs. I took this vid the other day..I have named him Shawn the suicidal sheep. He appears to be spawning on a block on a ledge, but the block isn't there. So the sheep continues to bounce up and down up and down. He falls a good distance but still doesn't die lol. It is my comic relief for this map. Always makes me laugh lol
Well I can't say I've SEEN this, and that's what makes it so weird.
Before the 1.8 bug fix update, I was out exploring my world, and I jumped up on a tree and I got damaged. I looked around expecting to see a skeleton (despite the fact it was daytime) and there was nothing. I jumped out of the tree and kept getting damaged, much faster than a skeleton can shoot. Finally I died as I fell into a cave and I still had no idea what killed me. I quit without looking at what had caused it, and when I loaded up the world again it only said that my home bed was missing or obstructed (I brought a bed with me to skip to dawn while I was exploring). So creepy....
I wish I'd nabbed a screenie of this. My favorite non-diamond-level caves in the game are the ones with the sandstone stalactites, and I came across a gigantic ravine that had them on the ceiling the whole way through. After dealing with the spider spawner that was right inside one of the caves intersecting the ravine, as well as lighting and exploring all the caves around it, I ended up converting it into a massive farm, trees down the middle with wheat, melon, pumpkin, sugar cane, and cactus farms branching off of it.
When i tried breeding wolves for the first time i had this glitch where they would kill eachother instead of breeding it only happened 2-3 times it was kind of funny though
I had plans for that area to be a beach resort area, already started building. Along comes creative mode and it snows in that entire area. I think getting rid of all the snow and ice on the ground will stop it from snowing. Nope doesn't work that way. Along comes the last update and now it doesn't snow any where on my map.

Covering the sky with glass is a good way to stop it from snowing.
ive been getting a lot of this thing since the update. animals literally EVERYWHERE.
lava not flowing in the nether. happened right after the recent update.
first time i ever found a stronghold.
Uhh...let's see, I saddled a baby pig, gave it speed, regeneration, and poison.
It went hilariously fast.
Oh, and here are a few oddities:
Underwater camera.
I accidentally the portal.
This thing was completely naturally-made in a mineshaft....
Door failure.
ANIMAL HOLE!
I don't even know....
Block 34 (or is it 36?).
Where's your God now?
Better door failure.
Broken forest (top of the world)
Timing win!
Very confused sugar cane.
The Void before bedrock fog existed.
This was taken in June far before creative mode:
Broad daylight at night.
Failure water.
All right, enough digging through my 128 Facebook pictures of Minecraft 360. -w-

Funniest thing I've ever seen...was when a wolf jumped into a hole of animals in water...just eradicated the cows/pigs/sheep....it was HILARIOUS!
Also when I got struck by lightning...INDOORS (I was struck shortly before outdoors, then moved below ground only to get hit again...glitch maybe?)
Haha Yes
Either world holes from lag or a boatload of above-ground dungeons?

And this is why I loved when animals despawned on their own without that stupid bug we have now....
