We all love Minecraft but what is it that drives you to pick up the controller and drool for hours on end. Are you a creative fantic or a die hard survivalist? Do you start new worlds just to look around the new caverns and areas or do you don a sword and armor and hunt for bacon adn survive the lonely nights? Hit me up and let us all know what you dominate in.
I forgot to say Myself. I like to dabble in creative...you know get the juices flowing but other than that Im a survivalist as well. If it moves its dead. Plain and simple keep those swords and pickaxes swinging and keep those eyes in the back of your head keen.

I play whatever I feel like at the time. I'm a Minecrafter. I play Survival, Creative, Adventure Maps, Challenge Maps, Puzzle Maps, I make redstone machines, I enchant things, etc, etc. I do every single thing the game has to offer.
I am new to these forums, but have been playing Minecraft for sometime now. I am definatly a die hard survivalist! Exploring caves and making huge mines, enchanting, brewing to adding nice feng shui to a cozy home!
Survivalist with ADHD. If I see a dark cave, I go and see what's in it. But honestly I tend to let my creativity shine in survival. I like making my house and the surrounding area look nice with the resources I've collected.
I do whatever pleases me at the time. Lately I've been amusing myself with potion making and enchanting. Soon enough I'll probably want to build something...something grand...

I do literally everything from create adventure maps to trying to defeat every legit player on the leaderboards to playing in an RP world.
It all depends on my mood.
On my own worlds, I just play with redstone, (in creative mode, obviously) all day err' day. Every once in awhile, very rarely, I'll play survival on a friend's world. It can be fun if an actual challenge is involved, or some sort of competition. Survival on its own is extremely boring, I used to start a survival world, play for maybe a week, then it would just become tedious and I would abandon the world. However, it can be pretty entertaining when you're with the right people.
Well that depends on what I am in the mood for... That always plays a part in what I do, however if I get inspired or an idea and feel like doing so, I tend to flesh it out till my distraction takes me to midnight or close to it...><
Mostly though I actually don't mind survival, but always on easy. Not fond of the high hitting in hard mode... I am a builder, not a hardcore survivalist.
I do have a few maps I will tango with creative in, but usually I do a bit of survival on those as well mixing the two. I will probably never play on a superflat, as I don't get inspiration from a blank canvas when I build. I use the terrain to build most times whether in creative or survival.
I do have one world that I will never go into creative on, and it has stayed that way since 1.7.3 & will stay that way. I do what I can on that world. Obviously I will not have potions or anything like that, but at least I can enchant and some of the other blocks and features. I continue to add this and that to that one.
I have lots of world files obviously, each to fit a different mood sometimes, but of recent it is just plain difficult to find a map that suits me, or rather one that I like as much as my primary one I built a lot on. Not because of the buildings I built on it, but the 1.7.3 generation is just flat out different than what it is now. I suspect I will not find something I truly like as much until the jungles actually come into the game. So that is a patient wait.
Still I enjoy what I can when I can keeping my time I spend in my old files no matter what they look like now.:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I love survival .. sometimes creative to test circuits and ideas... but survival all day... though I play on easy since my auto save is off and creepers seem overpowered otherwise. I cant wait for hardcore mode...

Haha, I know what you mean. I love exploring, but as I'm exploring one thing...I might see another cave and be like "oh! where does this go?" and hope I remember to go back to the first one.
Like many, I enjoy all the facets of Minecraft. However, I think my favorite this is to build cities/go creative in Survival mode. I enjoy creative mode too, but I feel really accomplished when I create cool things on Survival b/c I had to get the materials the 'hard' way.
I can't wait until (i hope) they add adventure mode to the XBL version!!

I like to just experiment with different aspects of the game... so, I'll say, "I do it all, but don't necessarily do it all so well."
