Actually if your part of the MS Live rewards scheme (google it) you get ms money back for purchases on live plus free points for various things or sometimes free gifts. If you have over 25,000 gamer score you get 2% ms monies on all transactions on live.
I think it's important to know that this rebate scheme was only introduced in September of 2012.
how hey that's how I use achievements! I compare achievements to see if others have also achieved what I have, or too check to see how far other players have gotten in a game. I like to compare who has more achievements in a game, not overall gamerscore.
They don't really prove anything, other than achievements for progressing through the story. Even those don't necessarily mean a thing. Someone could be awesome at a game and just not think about achievements. A player who has logged 50 hours in ranked match making, with 3 or 4 achievements could probably beat a person who has played 50 hours of story/campaign, and gotten nearly all of the achievements.
I question how the previous comment got posted twice in one post....
Answer - lag. My old computer seems to get stuck a lot so I keep pressing buttons. We're also not currently getting the bandwidth from our service provider that we've been promised. Not always, but sometimes, it results in an accidental double post. I usually catch them and delete one right away again, but this time I didn't see it until just now.
Stay fluffy~
