Okay, as many of you know Puppies need more bones to tame them. So here is the question, do you want to keep this like how it is, or 4J to change it so it is automatically tamed when he pops out.
So you may ask why anybody would want to re-tame a puppy that should belong to you anyways? Well say I want to give my friend a brand new dog? He can just come over to my house, breed him, and take him away. Also, this can be used in RPG maps. Say 10gold for a dog?
I personally say keep it how it is... what is your opinion?
Well, even if a pup is born from 2 highly trained and tamed dogs it still would need it's own training. It wouldn't be automatically the most obedient dog at birth so I say keep it the same.
why are people talking as if you could train a minecraft doggie... It only has two functions when "Tamed" sit or follow. The follow part will attack what ever master attacks and sometimes teleport to master when in danger from mobs.
Taming and training are 2 separate things. Would be nice if you could actually train your pets...--_--
I actually like the fact that the pup in not tamed at birth, gives chance to tame, but what would be the point when all tamed pets look the same...>< When ocelets come in I hope they have that variety put in for them, would be nice if they added a bit for the wolfs' too.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I don't know if this is the normal experience for everyone, but I usually don't have to bother with taming the pups. They stay "wild" but as long as the parents are tamed, they always seem to stick around. And I'm sure I'v seen them joining the fight when their parents attack. Guess I'll have to go home and double check all this to see if I'm right.

I really want 4J to look at this and see the majority of us want to keep the puppies untamed on birth

This thread is simply asking to keep dogs untamed, and by the results, people want them born untamed on birth..
That doesn't mean you can put them inside a villages walls or in your home.
Everytime my friend comes on my world he kills my dogs what do I do?
