I think it would be cool to craft spawn eggs...

Like:

chicken egg + gun powder + awkward potion = creeper spawn egg?

I wouldn't see the point in it.. at least in survival...
Maybe griefing purposes.... throw a creeper egg at a friend checking his inventory. lol

There isn't much point in playing videogames in general.. lol

I think Mob Spawn Eggs should stay in Creative. You already have access to endless mobs in Survival so the Eggs wouldn't really serve a purpose.

This would be useful if the spawn eggs were throwable as you could build mob-fighting arenas. Competitor/s enters arena, "gamemaker" throws various spawn eggs into the arena. fight to the death!!!!!

I really like the idea. It would need to require more "expensive" ingrediants such as gold or diamonds or obsidian.

If they were added to survival, I would find this exceptable payment.. It should require the mob drop, a chicken egg, and 1 diamond.

It would certainly make it easier to get a skeleton to kill and creeper to get a music disc; and it might lessen the need for people to spend time building elaborate mob traps. It would perhaps enable people using Peaceful mode to selectively have access to some of the mobs some of the time, so perhaps some of the more timid players who play on peaceful only would eventually work up more courage to play on harder modes.

or they could introduce them into the trading system, so you have to use emeralds to get them, instead of the crafting system.

Or this. All I know is that something valuable needs to be traded in order for you to have a mob egg in survival.

Mob Spawn Eggs don't work on Peaceful. As soon as you throw the egg, the mob despawns because the difficulty is on peaceful.
Be it Emeralds in a later update, diamonds, gold, iron, or something else valuable.
