actually no... it will shoot eggs and still have that chance that one will hatch... So it would be like as if you threw one yourself.

Mob Eggs and Chicken Eggs aren't the same though. Chicken Eggs have a 1/8 chance of spawning a chicken when thrown where Mob Eggs always spawn a mob.
Very selfish and single minded post there OP; what of us creative players who, like me, want to create man made villages etc? I am anxiously awaiting villager eggs to populate a village I made under an overhang, yet if you get your way it won't happen.
If you don't want something just don't use it, end of.
If you use vanilla MC for the PC it doesn't even have spawners, a mod adds those in, so we will never get them.
In my OP post Im a sure I stated that -I perfer Spawners over eggs- I do not want eggs (BUT) Getting Eggs and spawners would be cool. I have not problem with eggs. If we can't get spawners we can't get them.
