Good stories, everyone. The split-screen allows my son (5-1/2) and I to play on my Xbox. My wife also plays with us using her Xbox. I'm pretty sure you can't do the split-screen on the PC, so for us it was a no-brainer.
This may be a bad thing... but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud to say that Minecraft on the 360 is my son's first addiction. When I come home from work he often asks, "Can we go through the portal tonight?" I'm bummed that I had to go creative with our world to put some Wort in there, but the wife wants the three of us to start a world together fresh anyways. Gotta say it is the best $40 I've ever spent towards a video game, and once we get another Xbox for our son, the first download on there will be another $20 on Minecraft.
(Nintendo and Playstation have nothing on XBox when it comes to the controllers. )
Sure, Nintendo Doesnt have Good Controller Schemes, But they are getting Better with the 3ds (I liked the GameCube Controller)
The Xbox, the only thing I dont like about their controller, is how its not slim.
I love the playstation remote, good size, slim, great for playing Budokai Tenkaichi 3 back a few years.

Good points, but i am one of the ones who can't play 3D and smaller controllers/portables make my arthritis act up when we're playing for hours. Yes, i'm that old. Haha.

~My problem is a simple one: I'm severely allergic to stupid.~
Had it on PC when the beta version was out but hhave had an Xbox for 5 Years which has always been my preferred console so when it came out on the Xbox Live arcade, I just had to have it.

I bought the xbox version because my good computer, that I originally played minecraft on, died. I really wanted to play me some minecraft, so I bought it. I do have to say that I like the pc better of course, but there are friends on my xbox that I can play with there and not on the PC.

Yes, Will if it makes you happy too... My Laptop is now dead :/ My parents arent going to be happy! (At least i can use my brothers old one for a bit)
I got it because its a great game on PC but unfortunately my PC isnt that good and minecraft keeps saying 'done loading' Then just stops, In the downloaded minecraft it says done loading really quick then goes to a black screen. My internet is fine to run it though because it works on other computers. So MC: 360 was another choice for me.
What made me buy it was the fact that it was a lagless free minecraft running at a full 60 fps. Then the whole experience with the split screen and easiness to play online also touched me. When i get a new computer for PC minecraft and other games this would be my reason to come back to Xbox 360 aswell. To add in a other thing, I now want to see how 4J will make the Xbox version different and unique from the PC and this will be another reason why I will come back to it on Xbox.

I bought it because my friend took too long buying it for me, he let me borrow the xbox he bought it on for a week, I played it the whole week, then he took his xbox back and I waited 1 week for him to bring me the card to get it, then another week went by and still no Minecraft for me, so I wend down to the store and bought my own card because I was suffering withdrawals from not bein able to play for 2 weeks, so I guess to sum it up, I bought this game because its like FRIKKIN CRACK MAN (scratches neck quickly while looking around randomly and rocking back and forth in his seat)

Well for me it is because my PC isn't really powerfull enough to play it and the Xbox version is a lot easier to use with the controller. I also like the fact that I can play 4 player split screen with friends and family on the same console without having to set up networks and servers.

Yes, I know they can, but every emulator I've tried is terrible & not worth the time.
