Hello everyone, I've been a bit curious on how texture packs would work on Minecraft XBLA. 4J Studios has announced them already, but they've given no details on how they would work or a release date (Release date is reasonable.) So how do you think texture packs would work?
Personally I would a texture pack creator and sharer. I kind of understand why we can't have a skin pack creator because of copyright even though other games have character customizations so free that you could make Mario, Master Chief, or Kratos such as the Mii in the WII/Wii U/3DS or Skyrim Character Customization but thats not the point of this topic. I actually want a texture pack creator and sharer as said before. There is a reason for this and that is I don't want a texture pack no one knows and will probably be bad depending on the people who make it. (Lets hope not the Army Of Trolls) Seeing some skins already in-game I am impressed with 4J's work, but can they make a decent texture pack that people will like? Also, if 4J can't make a T-P Crearor/Sharer why can't 4J take already made popular ones by talking to the owner of it then splitting the profit depending on how greedy microsoft is? That would benefit Microsoft and the creator. Or, even though this is a fat chance because of how money milking microsoft is, why not give them away for free?
Moving on, how would they sell? Would they sell in packs that include 3-5 texture packs or seperate. I don't know how it will work, but what do you guys think? How should 4J handle this situation?

Part of Microsoft's and Mojang's deal. Updates are free, any and all DLC/add-ons cost $$$. That was the deal.
