it would be nice if there were seasons such as summer and winter. in the winter, it should snow in the snow biomes and rain in all the other biomes. in the summer the snow in the snow biomes should melt and it should only rain a little in all the biomes. spring and fall would be cool too. in spring flowers should grow and trees should look brighter like it would in spring. in fall, trees should turn that orange color like trees would in fall. leaves and saplings should also fall out the trees. and maybe once in a while all the other biomes besides snow biomes should get to have a little snow (like the forest).
There was a discussion about this a couple of months ago. It would leave all the trees leafless throughout the whole winter and, since we don't have actual branches, just looking like log poles... something, I suspect, that would not be popular with the many builders of tree houses. Also, people who build igloos and ice houses in snow biomes might not be too impressed when their creations melt away every few IRL hours of playing time. People get mad enough now when they have to start builds over whenever new updates add terrain/biomes.

I think it's a cool idea.
Maybe with some work arounds, as someone stated that igloos and such might melt.
But they could incorporate that snow biomes always snow (just as alaska or the antartic is always snow).
They should, in my opinion, add branches as well. Although some people might not like a dead tree house, some of us enjoy the ever evolving aspect of the game of minecraft.
Having a house that "changes" (dead leaves, snow, greenery) every few hours is pretty cool to me. And at the very least, i'm sure they could add an option at world creation that enables/disables seasons.

It's called mini modding... It's allowed.

I don't think this would be a good Idea, mainly because The leaves would keep growing indefinitely, and growing in incorrect places in tree houses, and trees would probably look like balls of leaves during spring/summer. There would be no way to stop the leaves from growing in incorrect places.

Are you blind? Maybe, just maybe, the exact same thread as this one (which I thought I was being helpful by sharing) has some feedback. Why would I waste my time parroting information when it already exists, especially when it was previously linked? Have fun with that.
P.S. It's not a bad concept in general, OP, but in Minecraft terms it's a horrible idea. If you want to try a similar game that pulls off seasons and various other realistic features extremely well, you should try Dwarf Fortress. It's free, and a mediocre PC can run it easily.
